SWAISO Mini Body-Mind Programming

SWAISO is a Japanese dynamic meditation technique given by Bodhidharma. It

combines the philosophies of Taoism and Patanjali Yogasutras.

Before starting the practice, write down the negativities that you want to remove from
your body-mind system on a piece of paper and select the most important negativity that
you want to get rid of. Repeat SWAISO selecting the same negativity until it is
eradicated from the system.

Procedure:
1. Standing up, keep the feet a shoulders width away from each other and the toes
slightly gripping the earth. It is better to do this bare-footed.
2. Bend at the knees slightly, while keeping the back upright.
Relax the upper half of your body.
Bring your awareness to the Hara centre.
3. Keeping the elbows straight, raise the arms to the eye level with the palms facing
down.
4. Swing the arms downwards and to the back.
The heels will automatically lift off the ground during the downward swinging
movement and some pressure is applied to the toe regions of the feet. This will
apply acupressure to the front of the feet where nerve endings from important
body parts are present.
Visualize that youre throwing out the negativity that was earlier chosen,
through your palms into the sky.
Allow the mind to empty and only keep a count of the repetition.
5. Allow the inertia of step 4 to bring the arms back up to the eye level again while
keeping the elbows straight.
6. Repeat steps 4 & 5.

SWAISO needs to be done facing the four cardinal directions: East, South, West,
North (in that order).
o The energy received when facing East will bring peace in the individual.
o The energy received when facing South will bring health and protection to the
individual.
o The energy received when facing West will bring fulfilment of
affirmations/goals in the individual.
o The energy received when facing North will bring prosperity to the individual.
SWAISO can be done at any time, before or after food.
Allow the breathing to be natural as per the bodys movement.
For people with physical restrictions, mentally visualize the process until the
physical restrictions are eradicated.
Total count of 800-1200 repetitions are prescribed to be done per day. This count
can be reached over multiple sessions spread throughout the day.
SWAISO incorporates the following aspects:
o Energy Balancing Jaaki is removed and Ki is restored.
o Mind control By occupying the mind with only the repetition count.
o Mental cleansing By visualizing the throwing out of the negativities.
o Chakra balancing By keeping the awareness in the Hara centre.
o Automatic pranayama happens.
o Opening up to the Subconscious mind.
o Meditation.

After the SWAISO practice, one can sit down for meditation and do one of the two
meditations:
o Imagine a golden shower of light which represents love entering your body from
the cosmos and filling every cell of your body with its divine energy.
o Imagine an energy grid made of golden mesh. The property of this golden mesh is
that it allows only the individual to pass through and not the negativities. As you
walk through this energy grid, your negativities get separated from the you and left
behind.
