BARBARE of Gorisubani
ST.Barbare church is a oneboat building.It has a size of 5,2.It is built with a limestone ,which has
a door in the West and the East.The walls inside are sharpened with a lime.It has three windows-in the
East,West and South.In the East it has two pitchers for acoustics. The church had been painted.It has a
track of painting on the North wall in the exterior.The church has also premises in the North which is
ruined at present.In the church yard there is a stone which has a carved writing of which size is
27/87/14 sm.It has a shape of semisircle.In the upper part it has a wonderful ornament.In the lower part
it has a writing and it belongs to the 11th century as Nikortsminda and Pataraoni.

Ghadishi St.george church

It is a oneboat building which has a size of 7/4 m.It is built with lime.In the past
it had had an arch which was replaced with wood later.The floor is made of a carved stone.The church
had had three doors in the South,North and West.The church had been painted.In the North and West
walls we can see the track of a painting.The tomb inside the church floor was damaged.
In the West the church has premises so calledSaqalebo of which size is 3,2/5,2m. In
the West of the top door there is a stone which has an image of a straight cross.In the North wall of the
church there are sculptures o archangels in medallions.
The church had had a fence around which is destroyed today.

Kedisubani church of Archangel

The church of archangel is a oneboat building which has a size of 6,4/4,3 m. It is a built
with a carved stone and lime It has two doors.
On the top of the door in the South there is a writing from where we know that there
were two builders. The text is about St. Sameba The writing dates back by 1792.
In the North of the wall there is a painting.The rest of the walls are sharpened with lime.
And there is no track of painting anywhere.On the North fresco there are shown four people.Each of
them has a writing from where we know: the ecclesiastic person has a name-Naob Kenchadze,then the
womans name is Kakonaand the sons name is Naskhida and the other womans name is Dodal
The painting and the church belongs to the 17th century.The ancient belongings of the church
was ruined in 1924.
The injured icons of St. George and Archangels are kept in a Georgian Art Museum.

Betlevi Church of Virgin

The church is a one boat building which has a size of 5,2/3,2m and is built with astone.It has a
door in the South and in the West.It has three windows-West,South and North.Trapezi is on the
building of the wall.The church had been painted.In the alter so calledSupplication is painted.On the
front side in the West The Cross of Christis painted.In the North of the arch crucifixionis painted.And
in the South Lady Day and Christmas.The church had had a fence which is destroyed.From the
writing of South Wall we know that the church was painted in the 15th century in 1493 In the church
there had been an Icon of Virgin of Betlemi on the gold paper. It had had three big ruby eyes and a
writing.The icon was ruined in September and November.

Mechvreti

The church is in the North of village Likheti two kilometers far from the branch of the rivers
Kheori and Seruli.It is named by Vakhushti Bagrationi in his Geography: There had been a building
in the gorge of Lukhuni which was ruined by Svaneti people.
The church is a oneboat building which has a size of 10/5,8m.It had had galleries in the South
and North.The church is build with a carved stone and a lime.The door had been in the West, South and
North.The church had been painted.It is proved by a pale red painting on the wall.The church of
Mechvreti was destroyed in 1929 and Likhrti Educational Centre was built with its materials. Near the
church there arew ruins of buildings which were the residences of monks.Around the whole complex
there is a fence of which remainders are also kept at present.
