Tiny patchwork smock dress
This tutorial is for a dress for a 0-3 months old baby. Of course you can also
use this tutorial to make larger size dresses by adjusting the sizes evenly.
You could also make the dress longer by adding an extra row of patchwork.
Have fun!
• Now along the top of the smallest skirt piece with a big streight stitch.
• Pull the threads on the end and beginning untill it’s about 18-20 cm
(about 8 inches) wide when you lay it flat.
• Stitch the patchwork piece to the body piece with right sides together.
Make sure the wrinkles are devided evenly.
• Sew the first patchwork piece to the body (make sure you’ve put your
machine in the normal stitch again after using the big stitch!)
• Sew along the topside of the second (larger) patchwork piece with a
big stitch and pull the threads on the beginning and the end until it’s
about 30-33 cm (12-13 inch) wide when you lay it flat.
• Pin the second piece to the first picee with right sides together.
