Arc flash is the sudden release of large amounts of heat and light energy at the point of
an electrical fault. Exposure to an arc flash frequently results in a variety of serious injuries and
in some cases death. This symbol is to require examination or maintenance while energized
should be marked with a clearly visible sign or label warning qualified persons of a potential arc
flash hazard. Switchboards, panel board, industrial control panel, meter socket enclosures and
motor control centers all present potential hazard and should be marked.

This sign is to control static in electrical or chemical areas and rooms. Place proper
grounding to ensure workplace safety. Easily warn staff and visitor to take precautions. Available
in lightweight plastic and rigid aluminum, signs are durable with a resistance to water and
chemicals.

This sign is to sufficient access and working space shall be provided and maintained about
all electrical equipment to permit ready and safe operation and maintained of such equipment.
Bushes, ladders, tools or any stored item can conduct electricity and injury or cause death to the
person working in the panel. The clearances are considered safe working space.
High voltage electrical equipment can be extremely hazardous to work on and be
around. Knowing how much voltage is running through a piece of equipment is important for
knowing how to prepare for working on it. With the use of voltage labels to mark terminals,
connections, and electrical equipment, you can help prevent possible electrocution accidents
that could cause severe injury or even death.

On these machines, relief valve lockout labels should be there to remind workers to lock out
the main air shut-off valve and bleed off all pressure from the system to ensure that
maintenance or repair on the machine can be safety done.

Insulation and grounding are two recognized means of preventing injury during electrical
equipment operation. Conductor insulation may be provided by placing nonconductive material
such as plastic around the conductor. Grounding may be achieved through the use of a direct
connection to a known ground such as a metal cold water pipe. His discussion provides information
to help guide employers and employees in protecting themselves against 120-volt electrical
hazards on the construction site, through the use of ground-fault circuit interrupters or through an
assured equipment grounding conductor program.
Moving parts are a dangerous aspect of any machine in a manufacturing plant or facility.
These moving parts can be extremely hazardous to anyone required to do work on the machine
to make a repair, perform scheduled maintenance, or remove a jam to get the machine up and
running again. Moving parts lockout labels are essential in making this as safe of a process as
possible.

Electric shock is the physiological reaction or injury caused by electric current passing
through the (human) body. Typically, the expression is used to describe an injurious exposure to
electricity. It occurs upon contact of a (human) body part with any source of electricity that causes
a sufficient current through the skin, muscles, or hair. Usually it can be seen all around because it
is the main oversight of everyone, they dont have the knowledge about electric current.

All worker are advised to wear the proper and approved electrical equipment such as goggles,
hard hat, safety shoes, and ear plugs for their safety.
