Introduction
My name is Charls Von L. Galang
a Grade 7 student of Bicol University College
of Education Integrated Laboratory School-
Highschool Department.I created this portfolio
because this is one of the project in English of
Ms.January Merilles this 4th Quarter.I created
this portfolio so even if I get bored sometimes I
could read this page by page instead of
watching something like television or anything
etc.I created this because when or if I get
older I could read this and remember all the
memories that I had back then in the past
when Im in the future.By the way If you read
this portfolio even in this Introduction I hope
that youll get enthusiastic or whatever.This
includes the time I have taken since 2016-2017
of my life being a Grade-7 in BUCE-ILS so have
fun if you read this.

A. English

My Reflection in English
The past year and now (Sy.2016-2017)
is the year where I become a student of Grade-7 in BUCE-
ILS-HS (Bicol University College of Education Integrated
Laboratory School-Highschool Department).When I first step
on inside the room of Ms.January Merilles in English class is
the time where I get nervous and shy a bit but many days
later I notice that she is very fun and friendly.She provides
many fun activities too like some activities related to arts
too or drawing rather and other stuffs like that.I experiences
the very first monthly test last 1st Quarter and realized that it
was very hard to take an examination if you dont review
anything that well so I try my best to receive many
points,high grades just by passing activities,homeworks,and
to recite as many as I can.I experiences many cool and fun
projects too just like our very first Musical Presentation in
the quadrangle last 2nd Grading of the 1st Semester,the
broadcasting,this portfolio and the brochure about tribes
last 1st Semester,our Reading teacher is Ms.January too last
1st Semester but now is Ms.Agnes Reonal.Every second in
Reading makes me feel enthusiastic because last year our
Reading Subject always happen every Thursday so every
Thursday Ms. January provides many activities for us and
sometimes we watch movies like the last movie we watched
is The Adventures of Tintin.English is not a subject for
embarassment but also a subject that we wanna learn
something and fun with Ms.January.

B. All Other Subjects

My Reflection in All Other Subjects

I experienced many events/experiences
in all other subject too just like in English.I
experienced singing with my own voice in a normal
way this year in Music class.I experienced many
activities in MAPEH just like the Cariosa Dance in
PE class.It iss more fun in MAPEH too so thats why I
love MAPEH now aand its my favourite subject in this
year.In AP(Araling Panlipunan),there are many facts
that we should know about History in this World too
just like Science so thats why AP is my favourite
subject too because this is a subject that related too
Science too,and I love Science.I experienced fun and
cool Projects too in this subject because most of the
time our teacher in AP gives project that relates to
Arts just like what I like,like making posters out of oil
pastels in a illustration board.I experienced the
strictness of the class of our teacher in Filipino
because if one of us or all of us make noise in his
class our grade is contigent to our class if we get
noisy or even behave.Just like what I said about AP
and MAPEH,Science is one of my favourite subject
too because just like AP,Science tells us many facts
too. And just like what I said in MAPEH,Science is fun
too because in this subject I experienced many
experiments too in Chemistry.In
TLE(Electronics),well I experienced lessons,tests and
Graded Recitations but TLE helps me in my life
because in this subject it tells us about
Electrical/Hand Tools that could be used when I need
it in some projects or if something is broken and this
subject help us how to be careful of handling risks
that could cause hazard.In TLE(Baking & Cooking)I
experienced of how we clean up and organize baking
&cooking tools/equipment.

My Learnings

First Grading
I learned all about SV Agreement and in
this lesson in SV Agreement,subject/s and verb are present
here.The SV Agreement can also help me in my daily life so I
could say the right grammar of every sentence I say.Stress
noun (PRONUNCIATION) is the way that a word or syllable is
pronounced with greater force than other words in the same
sentence or other syllables in the same word: The meaning
of a sentence often depends on stressand intonation.I
learned about prediction.Prediction is the action of
predicting something or a thing predicted; forecast. I
learned all about proverb too and it is a short pithy saying in
general use, stating a general truth or piece of advice.
Examples of Proverbs is Dont throw the baby out with the
bathwater means to be careful to not throw away good
things with bad while cleaning.

Second Grading
This Second Grading,I learned all about Preposition.
Prepositions are words that shows the relationship between
a noun or pronoun and other words in a sentence.This could
help me for my grammar too.I learned all about Connotations
and Denotations.Connotation-refers to the emotional or
psychological associations a word carries with it.
Connotation has 3 types and it includes the positive
(faborable)connotations,negative(unfaborable)conno-
tations,and neutral connotations. I usually use denotations
and often in connotation.I learned all about
metaphor,onomatopoeia,simili,alliteration,hyperbole,
personification,litotes,Apostrophe,and Irony that are all
kinds of Figures of Speech.I also learned about Adverb and
Types of Adverb including the Adverbs of
Frequency,Manner,Time,Place,and Degree.Moods of Verbs
includes Imperative,Indicative and Subjunctive.Some of the
lessons I have learned are Idioms and Idiomatic
Expressions,Poem or Poetic Persona,and
Advantages/Disadvantages of watching television.

Third Grading
I learned all about Essay and its compositions..It
has an Introduction,Body and a Conclusion.Writting Letters
is usually helpful for me by making Letters during birthdays
of my grandma or grandpa and other relatives too.There are
kinds of Letters too just like Friendly Letters,Social Letters
and Business Letters.There are kinds of formats too and it
includes the Full Block Format and Semi-Block
Format/Modified Block Format.Parts of a Letter are
Heading,Salutation/Greeting,Body,Closing/Complementary
Close,and Signature.There are 3 types of Verbals and it
includes the Gerund,Infinitive and Participles.Verbals are
words that function as a verb.The other lessons that I can
remember is the Methods of Paragraph Development and the
positive/negative sides of Computer Gaming.
 Forth Grading
I learned all about the Non-Fiction Books
about People and it includes the Biography,Autobiography
ang Memoirs.Biography is an account of a persons life
written,composed or produced by another.An Autobiography
is a literary genre just like a biography and Memoirs are
historical account or biography written from personal
knowledge or special sources.I learned all about the 10
Elements of a Biography and it includes the birthdate &
place,Family Members,Childhood & School Life,Hobbies,
Interests and Activities,Anecdotes,Career,Reasons for
Fame,Later Life/Old Age,Death,and Photos & Likenesses.I
learned all about Jose Rizal,his full name,parents,ancestry
and many moreI also learned all about the different
purposes of speechValuing Other People,Kinds of
Speech,Expository Texts and How to Fight Big Bullies,and
Drama& its Elements.

VI. Learnings (All Other Subjects)

My Learnings
There are many stuffs that we wanna learn about in
school specially in Math,Filipino,English and Science.Things
I learned about Math is how to solve problems from a Real
Life Application that includes Number Problems,Comparison
Problems,Work Problems,Money Problems and a lot more.
Therefore if get to have problems like this I just need to
remember how to solve this problems like what my teacher
in Math taught us.In Science I learned that in this
world,everything we see is Science just like the Life Cycle of
a butterfly.I learned that Climate Change is caused by
people who destroy the nature like forestfire or cutting
woods that could destroy the ozone layer that protects the
Earth from the heat of the sun so people cant set on fire.I
learned in ESP that we should respect each other,do things
that could lead us to success and do good manners or moral
etc.just like the definition of ESP do good manners.I
learned that stories in Filipino are more fun too if the story
tells us in a fantasy way.There are more stuffs too I learned
in Filipino,like writing/reporting news and the Elements of a
short story.In MAPEH(Music,Arts,PE & Health)learned that
there are many arts of Filipino not just drawings but some of
the festivals that happen in the Philippines.I learned about
the Elements of Music where Timbre,Rhythm,Pitch,Melody
and Dynamics belong

I realized that being a grade 7
student is not that easy as it is.Being a Grade
7 student will take responsibilities and hard-
working to finish all the tasks, activities,
homework and projects.I promise that on
Grade 8 I will do my best to get higher
grades.Ill finish my homeworks, activities,
tasks,and projects etc. as early as possible so
I couldnt problem anything when its
done.Being a grade 7 student will take big
responsibilities just like when the time comes
a teacher wants you to do something like
that or being one of the class officers.I
realized that being a class treasurer is the
worst for me and it is one of what I dont
expect either because being a class treasurer
will do his/her responsibility to collect money
in every class if needed.I realized that
sometimes we need to take projects very
serious too to get higher grades too by being
strict specially if you get to be a leader from a
group but sometimes if I get strict they get
angry and sulky so I get angry too but I dont
express it and just smile so it cant cause
bigger problems.
