DESCRIPTION:
This package contains an upgrade to the firmware for specific Western Digital
Hard Drives in the supported desktop models running a supported operating
system.

This firmware update applies to the following Western Digital Hard Drive
models:

NOTE: This package includes a utility that checks for one of the listed hard
drive models before upgrading the calibration table. If a correct hard drive
model is not found, or if the firmware is already set to the new version, the
firmware is not upgraded.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and
saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where
the downloaded file is saved).

2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

NOTE: For instructions about how to create a bootable CD or bootable DOS media
for this utility, see the "MAKEIT.txt" file, which is located with the files
that were extracted in step 2.
