Prayer of Church Singers

Dear Jesus, thank You for endowing us with pleasant

voices, and for calling us to use them in Your liturgical rites.
Let us never be puffed up by singing in church, but ever
give credit to Your gift. Help us to lead the singing in such a
way that others will be brought to fuller participation in the
celebration of the Eucharist.
Keep us aware that by helping to celebrate Your
Paschal mystery, we are helping to bring Your redemption to
the world and the world to You in return. Amen.

A Family Prayer

Our Father, we thank You for You love and for the many
good things You have given to our families. Help us to show
our gratitude by loving each other as you love us.
Give us patience and understanding to bear with one
another generosity to share our joys and sorrows, honesty to
admit our faults and correct them. We entrust our families to
Your Fatherly care and protection. Help us to grow daily in
wisdom and grace.
O dear Jesus, make our homes shrines of peace, purity,
love, labor and faith. Bless and protect all of us, absent and
present, living and dead.
O Mary, loving Mother of Jesus and our Mother, pray to
Jesus for our families and for all the families of the world.
Blessed Saint Joseph, Holy Guardian of Jesus and Mary,
assist us by your prayers in the necessities of life. Ask of Jesus
that special grace which He granted to you, to watch over
our homes at the pillow of the sick and dying, so that with
Mary and with you, heaven may find our families unbroken in
the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Amen.
