Dear Sir/Madam,

I am applying for Middle East Regional Program Coordinator, Jordan with the expectation to work in
moving environment, where I could provide technical and management support to Secours Islamique
Program implementation, program development and representation in the humanitarian/recovery setting.
My experience, particularly in designing and managing large scale program portfolios well-equipped me
for this role.

I have been working on similar management roles with organizations like ACF Spain Malawi Mission,
Solidar Switzerland, Solidarities International and Relief International among others. Resource
mobilization, security decision making, organizational development, strategic planning and providing
leadership to the operations, i.e. HR, finance, logistics and funding are some of the key highlighting
themes of my profile. More specifically, following are some of the key relevance to the role is drawn as
below:
o Leadership & Program Management: Throughout my professional carrier, I have been dealing
with projects in emergencies, early recovery and developmental contexts. In my most current role
I have represented ACF Spain, with projects funded by SIDA, Spanish Corporations, ELMA
foundation, UNICEF and UNHCR. Working with communities and government institutions on
WASH, Health & Hygiene of the asylum seekers and affected communities with an emphasis on
integrated programming of WASH with nutrition and FSL. Prior to this, I worked with Solidar
Switzerland and Solidarities International as Senior Program Manager for Pakistan, where I have
had to establish and refine the emergency relief programs apart from sector strategy for
Solidarities portfolio in Pakistan. Budget holding, Programme management, representation and
effective strategic Programme planning and positioning have been my key highlighting themes of
professional career so far.

o Emergency response Coordination & Representation: I have been contributing, rather leading,
and the development of cluster strategies together with key cluster actors. I led Provincial Shelter
clusters after 2012s floods in Pakistan including defining the coordinated ways of working for
effective response, design of cluster strategy with programmatic linkages between relief and
recovery phases. One of the key highlights of my profile has been to develop strong coordination
mechanism with local communities and line departments necessary for smooth implementation of
program activities.

o Strategic planning, Report Writing, Programme design: I have been working with DFID, SIDA,
OFDA, Starter funds, NMFA as well as multi-lateral donors funded grants. Strategic planning,
formulating emergency strategies with forward look to firm programmatic linkages with early
recovery and durable solutions are my areas of professional excellence. I have been developing
mission strategies, M&E framework with themes of accountability through emergencies as well as
organizational plans when it comes to linking relief to recovery efforts. Information gathering and
technical report writing are my areas of professional high lights and at the field level
implementation; I have an in-depth knowledge of WASH programs and its design and
implementation in emergencies.
Academically:
o I have an International MS degree in Sustainable water sanitation, Health and Development
from Comsat institute of science and technology in collaboration with Norwegian University of
Biological Sciences.
o I have also Post-graduate University degree of M. Sc in Microbiology
o I have got different professional trainings on humanitarian programming and evidence based and
result oriented management etc.

Personal Attributes:
o I have an in-depth understanding of socio-cultural parameters and programmatic perspective of
emergency programming, early recovery and recovery solutions
o I have an extensive experience of working with government and non-governmental stakeholders
from my experience profile, personal attributes and academic history.
o I am quite aware of the security guidelines to be followed in specific areas and conditions
especially in the prevailing context of Middle East.
