RESUMO
ABSTRACT
The rock blasting with use of explosive substances causes environmental impacts and
discomfort for the people involved, which are exposed to its effects. Serious damage to
the environment are felt through launch of blocs of rock, vibrations, dust emission,
increase in noise, deposit of dust in areas and / or drainages adjacent to mining, besides
changes in landscape. Such damages can be minimized with implementation of strategic
and participatory techniques in environmental management without jeopardizing
sustainable development for the region. The objective of this study is to analyze how the
implementation of cleaner production in rock blasting activity can help to improve the
health of the worker. This study will be based authors (DALLORA NETO, 2004;
BRIDGES, 1998; ESTON 1998; ROLIM, 1993, and Sanchez, 2001), with respect to
rock blasting. As for cleaner production will be used in studies (BARBIERI 2004;
