In Japan, there is a famous proverb which is that an effective medicine is

always bitter. The proverb says that people who want to achieve something
should experience difficulties. I think the world leaders surely faced many
obstacles. People in the world could learn from Mohandas Gandhi. Personally,
I admire Gandhi who is famous as the leader of the independence movement
of India. This is because he accomplished to independent India from the US
without doing any violence actions.

Firstly, Gandhi brought the idea of locally produced and consumed. To show
the disrespect of the products from the UK, he encouraged people to buy the
local goods instead of buying the UKs such as cotton goods. As a results, he
enlightens the people the cooperation to the UK did not connect to the
independence of India. This idea became a big movement in India and the
picture which he was pulling the strings also became the symbol of this
movement.

Secondly, Gandhi insisted non-violence and civil disobedience. Even though,

the UK armies took violence behaviors to them in India, he and his
surroundings were really patient and did not runaway from the spots. It
affects the world society and made him famous.

Finally, Gandhi led the independent movement in India. India was under the
control of the UK. However, he motivated the citizen and persuades the
importance of the independence. It expanded to whole India and achieved his
goal.

Like the words on the aforementioned, leaders always have a bitter

experience such as struggling to making movement, enlighten the public and
leading people. However, after the efforts, he could come true his goals and
found ways for the people to have decent life. Therefore what Gandhi made
currents because of them people are still appreciating him.
