In reference to your advertisement appearing in the website http://reliefweb.int/ for the above
mentioned position. I wish to offer my candidature for the same.

Now days, Im managing the Business Development activities of Pakistan Industrial Trading Corporation
along with that Im also working as a Free-lance Business Development Consultant and providing
consultancy services to NGOs & CSOs regarding concepts notes, proposal writing, Project development,
management and financial planning etc. Likewise, Im also looking for new opportunities for further
enhancing my skills, qualification and experience. Im also selected as an Inspirator & listed in
Inspirators roster by Action AID International, Denmark and successfully completed two short courses
i.e. Induction course and Human Rights Based Approach course from The Network University,
Tanzania.

Previously, I have done a research work on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) with
Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Stephen Zuellig Graduate School of Development Management,
Philippines and involved in analyzing seven super typhoons which hit Philippines in last seven years
(2006-2013) including the most the destructive typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda. Additionally, taught a
comprehensive course on Use of IT for Development Managers to the class of 57 Development
Managers from 15 countries across Asia with a special focus on analyzing software i.e. MS-Excel and PH
Stat. Also organized Seminars in four major cities of Pakistan i.e. Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and
Muzaffarabad for promoting the Master in Development Management (MDM) degree program of AIM
and to attract interested/talented development professionals for MDM sessions.

Moreover, I used to work on different roles like Lead Trainer, Program Coordinator, Team Leader,
Project Manager, Promotions & Communications officer & Consultant and have successfully
implemented several projects, handled large budgets, managed big teams, developed partnerships,
monitored project activities, developed Standard Operating Procedures, drafted concept notes/
proposals, formulate strategies, hired staff, developed and delivered trainings, conducted surveys,
mobilize Communities, organized seminars, workshops and meetings, represented on national and
international forums and worked with the people of diversified cultures and groups. Additionally, I have
multi sector experience i.e. Governance, Education, Community Development, Disaster Risk Reduction &
Management, Reconstruction & Rehabilitation and Renewable Energy.

Further, along with experience, I have Master Degrees in the areas of Business Administration &
Development Management and fully aware of development theories, tools & approaches. Im Proficient
in using stakeholders analysis, problem analysis, solution analysis, alternatives analysis, Logical Frame
Works, strategy mapping & development, feasibility analysis, result-chain analysis, cost & benefits
analysis, Monitoring and Evaluation methods and approaches, Rapid area analysis, vulnerability
mapping, political mapping and many more.

Besides working in Pakistan, I also have exposure of analyzing and reviewing development projects in
other Asian countries i.e. Nepal, Indonesia and Philippines. Lastly, I am enclosing herewith my resume
