REMINDER:

MISSING RE-REGISTRATION FOR THE WINTER SEMESTER 2017/18

Dear Students of Rhine-Waal University,

According to 8 of the Enrolment Order it is necessary to re-register at the university in order

to carry on with your studies. You have received this reminder because you have not been
re-registered for the winter semester 2017/18 yet.
There could be a few reasons for this. You may not have submitted the necessary
documents (e.g. proof of internship or proof of health insurance) or did not pay the semester
fee of 278.38. We would kindly ask you to do this as soon as possible till 27 June 2017.
Without re-registration you wont get your Student-ID and you wont be able to register for
exams.
If you have already paid the semester fee, please double check if the correct reference (see
instructions below) was used. With not the correct reference, your payment cannot be
assigned automatically. In this case please send an email with a proof of your payment to the
Student Advisory Service: studienberatung@hochschule-rhein-waal.de
If you have re-registered in time your student ID will be sent to you by post in July. In case
your address has changed, please update it on the HIS portal (https://his.hochschule-rhein-
waal.de) by 01 July 2017 at the very latest, so that your student ID card can be posted to the
correct address; otherwise your ticket cannot be delivered.

Important information:

As the payment is processed automatically, you would need to fill in the payment reference
(Verwendungszweck) as follows:
Your matriculation number, followed by the year, followed by the digit 2 (for the
winter semester)
For example, the entry for the matriculation number 10752 should be as follows:
Reference (Verwendungszweck) 1: 1 0 7 5 2 2 0 1 7 2
Important: Please make sure you dont use the matriculation number given in this example,
instead you need to replace it with your own matriculation number. Please dont add
anything to this and dont add any spaces; otherwise the payment cannot be allocated.

you transfer the fee from a Deutsche Bank account please use the box payment details instead of customer
reference. This will allow us to allocate your payment.
Please note that we cannot send out a confirmation that your payment has been received.

To ensure that you can use your ticket right from the start of the semester, we recommend
you make your payment as soon as possible. Please note that a timely re-registration
depends on the date your fee is received. If we havent received your payment by 27
June 2017 we reserve the right to de-register you from the university according to
11 (3) b, c of the Rules of Enrolment of Rhine-Waal University (Einschreibungsordnung).

Only for Students in Semester of Internship / Study Abroad:

If you are going to do your semester of internship outside of NRW without using the NRW-
ticket or if you are going to study abroad, you can apply for a reduction of your semester
fees. You will get the form with your application for admission to the internship semester
or alternatively from the Student Advisory Service (Campus Kleve: building 18, ground floor,
Campus: Kamp-Lintfort: building 4, ground floor).

The completed and signed form must be submitted at your Deans office for confirmation.
Students of the Faculty of Technology and Bionics must submit it to their supervising profes-
sor for confirmation.

Please note that the completed form with confirmation by the faculty must be handed in at
the Student Advisory Service within the deadline for re-registration according to 5 (6) of
the Regulations of Student Fees at Rhine-Waal University (Beitragsordnung der

Only for Incoming Exchange Students:

This information does not concern exchange students who are enrolled for only one semes-
ter. Only if you are an exchange student who stays for a full academic year, you have to re-
register and pay the semester fees for the upcoming semester as indicated here. If you have
