Office.

Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger in ways that deliver benefits to
corporate, division, and plant accounting staffs. He initiated improved sales tax
functionality for Oracle using the Vertex calculation module for Oracle release 9 and
proposed the use of Vertex Quantum for release 10 installations.

analysis applications. He was the Project Manager for integrating the Clippership

He followed the upgrade strategy with a distributed access and analysis strategy that
implemented PC-based workstations at remote plants. This was the companys first use of
remote PCs. He implemented PC-based finance workstations at sixteen locations. These
workstations were used to integrate the finance functions at corporate and plant levels.
Dave eliminated three central positions and saved $192,000 when more than half the
invoice volume was electronically transmitted from plant sites versus being handled
centrally. He implemented Micro Control from Hyperion to integrate corporate and
division reporting functions and speed up the monthly closing process. The monthly
closing was reduced from three weeks to three days. Dave implemented PC-based Human
Resources workstations in sixteen locations. These workstations were used to integrate
