his is us staying forever youngor gracefully aging if youre into counting years and such. you can
t
likewise say this is us taking our sweet time to savor the gratifying pauses that come our way. Weve
been fortunate enough, afer all, to still be standing tall today, making history any chance we get.
Fifteen years ago, the very thought of us getting praised for our contributions to Pinoy pop
culture had never really crossed our minds. Ever since issue no. 1, our only goal has always been to
come out with a monthly issue worthy of our bylines. Behind the scenes, we hustle, work hard, and
make full use of our hands and brute strength to deliver an issue thats always way better than our last.
We also never stop dreaming up eye-popping features (or content as you kids now call it) and mind-blowing
concepts for cover shoots, calendars, specials, books, events, and magazine redesigns. In the process of all this
finetuning, weve helped to either jumpstart or revitalize the careers of many a starPatricia javier, diana zubiri, the Viva
Hot Babes, Aubrey miles, Angel Locsin, Katrina Halili, Cristine Reyes, sam Pinto, jennylyn mercado, marian Rivera, and
so many more accomplished actresses today.
What has kept us going through the yearsaside from our wholehearted willingness to evolve with the times and
learning from our mistakesis our readiness to collaborate with only the best. In constantly partnering with both the
countrys master and up-and-coming photographers, seasoned celebrity stylists, make-up artists, and open-minded
managers of our chosen stars, we continue to capture and produce sensational and tasteful pictures that become events
in themselves and the ultimate in #squadgoals high.
Sexiest: 15 Years of Stunning FHM WomenA Visual Celebration is the book that best punctuates our journey
so far. this is us stopping time so we can all appreciate the inspirational and transformative power of photography. Feel
free to relive the memories, ladies and gentlemen. But remember not to get stuck. It wont be long before our journey
starts all over again.

af ter word
by Erwin Romulo
f there is anything to be said about the repeated proclamations about the death of print, it is that
I
either it is suffering from a lingering but perhaps fatal illness or that it is a zombie art form. make no
mistake about it, every decade in recent memory has trumpeted its demise but yet it is still here, still
alive or maybe undead. magazines in particular get so regularly killed off by one pundit or another
it makes you wonder if its not all driven more by a spurned Eros rather than by a particularly inept
thanatos.
the mention of the name of the god of desire is apt, if only because the celebration of beautiful women has
perhaps been around as long as magazines have been made. It is made flesh by the fact that it is printed. It is tactile to
the touch. Even the smells of a newly-printed magazines paper has known to be a turn on. For many it has even taken on
an air of devotion.
In all its years of publishing, FHm Philippines has enraptured, engaged and articulated the desires of readers
the world over. this is no idle boast. After all, we do have the most beautiful women. And it isnt limited to men either. As
surveys have shown a significant number of women regularly pick up an issue. It is a collective dreaming that can only
be good for the health of any society. After all, the expression of what makes us all inherently human should always be
cherished if not protected. only then can we truly be open to discuss what matters to us most.
no, print isnt dead. If anything it is sleeping, like some gorgeous babe under enchantment, and it only takes a
kiss to bring her to life. that happens each time you turn a page. It is nothing less than an act of love.
