BOOSTER PUMP

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Package contents: (1) BOOSTER PUMP
(1) TRANSFORMER
(1) TSO (TANK SHUT-OFF) SWITCH
(2) 4' LENGTH OF GREEN POLY TUBING

1. Turn off incoming water to reverse osmosis unit. Lift handle on faucet to drain the water
from system and storage tank. Note: If tank is equipped with ball valve, close valve to
preserve tank water.

2. Connect a green line (provided) to the inlet connection on booster pump. The inlet
side of the booster pump is marked with an arrow that points from the fitting to the body
of pump.

3. Mount the pump to a convenient location near the reverse osmosis unit.

4. Disconnect the short 1/4" green line from the 3 stage carbon filter housing and the
automatic shut-off valve and discard. Connect the green line from inlet side of the booster

pump to the 3 stage carbon filter. This line should be cut to length from where the
booster pump is mounted.

5. Connect the other green line (provided) to the outlet side of the booster pump. This
side of the booster pump has the marked arrow pointing away from the body of the
booster pump.

6. Connect the green line from outlet side of booster pump to the automatic shut-off valve
on the reverse osmosis system.

7. Cut the blue line from the reverse osmosis membrane unit to the storage tank as
close to the storage tank as possible (within 4 of the storage tank, if possible). Insert the
TSO (Tank Shut-Off) at this location. This shut-off does not have a directional flow and
can be installed either direction on the blue line.

8. Plug transformer into electrical outlet. Turn on incoming water to reverse osmosis
system. Open tank ball valve if so equipped.

9. Check for leaks periodically as the system fills and again after it shuts off (tank full).
