Today 06-10-17 at approximately 0845 hours, I responded to 815 historic Goldsboro Blvd in reference to a possible domestic
disturbance. Upon arrival, I made contact with 26 year old Laura Leal. Leal advised that her live-in boyfriend Nicholas Gordan did
unlawfully commit domestic battery by hitting and punching her in the face and the back of the head with a closed fist. Today`s incident
took place between 0030 hours - 0700 hours.
Leal advised that the couple have lived together for the past two and half close to three months.

Leal stated that last night she and her live-in boyfriend 28 year old Nicholas Gordon went out to eat at Duffy`s Sports Bar located in the
Lake Mary/ Heathrow in Seminole County.
Leal stated that after watching the basketball game between Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers they went home to 2014
Arbor Lakes Circle.

Leal stated that between 0030 and 0100 hours the couple began to have a heated argument. The argument became physical and lasted
through the night. Leal advised that Gordon was upset because he thought she was trying to hook up with one of his friends at Duffy's.
Leal stated that she would never give Gordon a reason to be suspicious or jealous about being with another man. Leal stated her
feelings for Gordon are real but added that the relationship was toxic.

Leal says that Gordon wanted her to be honest about wanting to hook up with his friend, but Leal advised when she told Gordon she
would never do that to him, he didn't believe her. Leal advised that Gordon repeatedly told her to tell him the truth and that he would not
get mad he just needed the truth.

Leal says that Gordon gave her an option to leave, but advised that when she tried to exercise that option, Gordon became upset and
violent punching and hitting her and refused to let her leave. Leal stated that while attempting to leave and communicate with her sister
on the computer via Facebook, Gordon took the lap top computer preventing her from communicating with her sister. Leal advised that
a few weeks ago Gordon smashed her phone so she had no phone, and says that Gordon then hid his personal cell phone in order to

further prevent communication for help. Leal stated that Gordon would not allow her to leave the apartment and continued to punch and
hit her.

Leal stated that at some time after daylight she ran into Michelle Gordan's ( Nicholas Gordan's mother) bedroom and woke her up in an
effort to get assistance. It was then that Ms. Gordan saw the injuries to Leal and assisted in getting her out of the house and took her
home.
Leal advised that her older sister, Carla Leal, met her at the house and transported her to the Sanford Police Department.

While in contact with Leal, I observed injuries on Leal arms and face, I instructed Carla Leal (older sister) to transport Laura Leal to the
emergency room located at Central Florida Regional Hospital located 1401 Seminole Blvd for treatment.

After gathering statements from Laura Leal(victim) and the older sister, I was able to make contact with Nicholas Gordon at the club
house in his apartment complex located at 2014 Arbor Lakes Circle.

While on scene we attempted to make contact with Nicholas Gordon's mother Michele Gordon, but Ms. Gordon was not home.

Leal was given a copy of her Legal Notice of Rights and Remedies.

Nicholas Gordon was arrested for domestic battery and false imprisonment.

Nicholas Gordon was transported to the JEPCF without incident.

Statements made by defendant prior to, during, and after arrest as related to each charge:

Gordon stated that he never hit his girlfriend because really cares for her. Gordon also advised that he is the one that was abused and punished.
Gordon stated that Laura Leal hit and punched him repeatedly.
Gordon stated that Laura Leal is not telling the truth and wishes to press charges on her.
