than 100+ Linux Servers, comprises of various Linux Flavor Servers.

Administrator) to their Data Centers in USA, which consists of more than 1300 Servers, comprises of various Linux Flavors
and few Windows and Solaris Servers.

Achievements
• Installation and Up gradation of Sitescope 7.x Servers to Sitescope 8. along with the patches and moved the
configuration from old server to new server.
• Migrated the Sitescope 7.x to Nagios 2.9 and successfully configured the server and service monitors. Installing
Nagios from scratch.
• Had setup Email to SMS Service for the Server monitoring (Sitescope and Nagios) tools for Oncall purpose, which
triggers alert email when server or service is down, that alert email will be received as SMS. Email to SMS involves
a third party service.
Worked as System Administrator in U&D Square Solutions Pvt. Ltd., for their client www.canadawebhosting.com, providing
remote admin support to their Data Centers in Canada, Vancouver and Toronto, which consists of more than 600 Servers
comprises of various Windows and Linux Flavors.

Worked as System Administrator in Advance Ecom Solutions, handled Web servers of 15 nos. (Productions, Staging and
Development Servers), LAN and Workstations of 50 nos. Was responsible of System Department and led a team of two
during this tenure.
Achievements
Handling 12 Web Servers that comprises of Dedicated Web Servers and Hosting Servers on both Windows and
Linux.
Configured and currently Maintaining more than 5 Dedicated Web Server which includes both Windows and Linux.
Installed Linux and configured local mail server for one of AES client successfully.
Maintaining Live Hosting and Dedicated Windows web servers through Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) and
Linux Web Server through Control Panels and SSH Terminal Access.

Worked as Technical Support Engineer in KGISL from Jul’2003 to May’2004, I was an offshore resource for their client
TAGnet.org who is a hosting service provider for 7th day Adventists, they have around 700 plus hosting clients to whom we
were providing Technical Support and provide remote system admin for the servers over 600+.

Conducting Security Audits, reviewing the reports and working on solutions to fix the security issues found.
Setting up Intrusion Detection Tools on servers, monitoring daily reports from these tools to keep track of Critical
Files.
Configuring and customizing Content Management System for customers of TAGnet.

6. Monthly Updates and Security Audits
All the servers in the cluster are to be updated once in a month. This task is done during the first week of every month and
involves the following steps:
• Removing the server from the cluster, so that it doesn't affect the cluster
• Applying patches and updating software
• Updating tripwire baseline database, rebooting the server and adding the server back to the cluster
• Conducting a Security Audit on the updated server, using Nessus
• Analyzing the Nessus Report and fixing the security holes and warnings
