DESCRIPTION
The NALCOOL 2000 Test Kit, 420-C0145.88, is
designed to be a quick, easy method for determin-
ing concentration of NALCOOL 2000 in diesel
cooling water. It is a very simple test requiring no
formal analytical training or experience, and can be
run by any operator.
The number of drops or milliliters of the titrant NALCOOL 2000 Test Kit
needed to reach the end point will directly indicate
the amount of NALCOOL 2000 present and the

Note: Since the amount or type of antifreeze present will vary, more
accurate results may be obtained by making up a solution of the
antifreeze and water mixture being used and then adding enough
NALCOOL 2000 to make its concentration equal to 4 ounces per
gallon of solution. Then test the made-up sample using Step 6. The
reading you get will be the number you should use for a good level of
treatment reading.
