LESSON REFLECTION

Is there anything within this lesson that I would change the next time?

When I introduce new material, I use uncomplicated material. This gives the student the
opportunity to focus on the strategy that I am teaching rather than struggle with reading levels.
To scaffold the learning, I gradually increase the reading level of the material to grade level as the
students understand the strategy. It could have explained that process to the students with more
details so that they would not have thought the reading was too easy for them.
