Q#1: what do understand by term classification and

tabulation . Discuss its importance in health sciences?

Answer:

Classification: it is the process of arranging the observations into different

classes according to some common characteristics of resemblance

e.g. Data may be classified as age, gender, color etc

Tabulation: it is the orderly arrangement of the numerical data into

columns and rows . it is the presentation of data in a manner , which is
suitable for further statistical work and huge mass of data is presented in the
suitable tables.
