Grammar
The words in blue are singular nouns. The words in red are
plural nouns.
- Would you like a sandwich? Would you like an egg?
- We also get food from plants and trees. Cucumbers and
tomatoes come from plants.
Singular Plural

Get the pupils to name the objects in the classroom and give
the plural form of the words. Introduce -ies and -ves as in
cherries and leaves.
