NIPPON TRAFFIC AND AIRFIELD MARKING PAINT

Product Description:
Nippon Traffic and Airfield Marking paint is a waterborne, single component 100% Acrylic based paint
which is developed for runway markings. This paint is most suitable for application on cement
concrete and bituminous surfaces.

Recommended Uses:

It is recommended for use on concrete, bituminous, brick or stone surfaces of airfields, highways,
bridges, tunnels, streets or parking lots by traffic-stripping equipment designed for water based paints.

Composition: A blend of pigments and extenders in 100% crosslinking


acrylic resin.

Properties:

Color : White, Yellow, black, Red

Appearance : Smooth, Uniform and free from grits.

Recommended no. of coats : 1-3

Drying Time : 10 mins max (For no dirt pick up)

Volume solids : 50 5% (Depending on colors)

Viscosity : 80-90 KU

DFT : 80-100 microns

Coverage(Theoretical) : 5 Sqm at 100 microns

Application Methods & Dilution:

1) Brush/Roller : Dilute 15-20% with clean Water

2) Conventional / Airless Spray : Dilute 20-25% with clean Water

Cleaning solvent: Clean all equipment with tap water immediately after use
Surface Preparation:

Surface to be applied should be cleaned with nylon brush and preferably with water. Any grease or oil
should be cleaned with petrol or any suitable thinner.

Standard Packing : 4L & 20L

Safety, Health and Environmental Information:

Keep out of reach of children and away from food and drink. Harmful by inhalation and if
swallowed. If swallowed seek medical advice immediately. Ensure good ventilation during
application and drying. Do not breathe vapor or sanding dust. Avoid contact with eyes and
skin. When applying paint it is advisable to wear eye protection. In case of contact with
eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wear protective
clothing and mask while applying the paint. Use soap and water to clean the splashes from
skin. Paint must always be stored in a cool and dry place. Care must be taken while
transporting the paint. Always keep container in a secure upright position. Use sand to
contain any spillage. Dispose of paint in accordance with the appropriate Environmental
Quality Regulations. Do not discharge into drains or environment.
