Job Purpose

To professionally and effectively manage the human resource operations and


administration of the SACPCMP in order to provide a positive contribution to the
SACPCMP in achieving its strategic and operational objectives.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

A 3 year HR related Diploma or Degree qualification, with 3 - 5 years working


experience in the HR environment is required;

Registration with HR professional institution(s) is an advantage;

In-depth knowledge and practical application of computer systems and packages is


non-negotiable - Microsoft packages, general computer literacy, twitter & Facebook;

Sound knowledge of HR Legislation (Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour


Relations Act, Skills Development Act, and others);

Above average organising and planning skills;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Solid and balanced knowledge of the total HR function and HR Best Practices; and

Facilitation capabilities and Coordination Skills

Key Responsibilities

The post incumbent will be responsible for providing professional and


proactive generalist HR service, as well as accurate and sound HR advice
and support to SACPCMP and employees;

Ensure full compliance of the SACPCMP with employment legislation in HR


administrative processes and procedures;

Ensure that management is equipped with the necessary HR tools to manage
their employees;

Ensure implementation and updating of HR policies;

Implementation of SACPCMP performance management and development


system;

Effective recruitment and selection process that will ensure optimal staffing of
the SACPCMP in accordance with relevant policies;

Drafting and updating of job descriptions;

Facilitates the job analysis, job profiling & remuneration processes;

Payroll and benefits administration;

Coordinate induction programmes for new employees;

Effective record keeping and ensure timeous availability of records, statistics


and information for management;

Provide support in managing grievances and disciplinary procedures,


conciliations and arbitrations;

Coordinate training of employees;

Manage Talent Management and Employee Wellness Programs;

Develop and implement HR Business plan
