VNIT has separate hostel buildings for B. Tech. Boys & Girls. For boys hostels, 4 students would be
accommodatedinoneroomduringfirst&secondyearandinGirlsHostel4studentswouldbeaccommodated
forthefirstyear.Hostelroomsareequippedwithonestudytable,chair,cot/bed(size2x6)andshelf/
cupboardforeachstudentwithsufficientnumberofceilingfansandtubelights.

2) Visit VNIT website / link http://210.212.165.248/vnitregistration/index.php and register yourself and fill
the complete details. Take printout of registration slip as well as information filled in on one A4 paper
(front&back)andbringatthesameatthetimeofreportingtoVNIT.Theformwithundertakingmustbe
signedbystudentaswellasparent.

3) Deposit the Hostel Admission Form along with the DD of requisite fees, to the Hostel Section, Ground
Floor,OldLibraryBuilding,VNIT,NagpurORatthecounteratthetimeofInstituteReporting.

4) Hosteladmissionwillbeconfirmedonlyafterdepositingthehostelformandundertakings.Allotmentof
RoomswillbedoneonFirstCumFirstServebasis(aftercompletingtheformalitiesofInstituteReporting).

5) Students would be allowed to stay in the rooms allotted to them from the date of reporting to the
institute(asperthescheduleofJOSSA,2016).

6) Keepingpersonalfurniture,appliancesetc.isnotallowedinthehostel.

7) Useofalltypesofmotorizedvehiclesandelectricalappliancesviz.iron/hotplates/inductioncookers,
refrigeratorsetc.isstrictlyprohibited(exceptAirCoolersinsummer)forhostelinmates.

8) Parents,relatives,friendsarenotallowedtostayinthehostelwithstudents.

9) StudentsarerequiredtoopenasavingsbankaccountatCanaraBank,VNITBranchorStateBankofIndia,
VRCEBranch,Nagpur.

10)Itemswhicharerequiredforpersonaluseviz.Mattress(size2x6),Bedsheets,Bucket&mugetc.areto
bebroughtin/requiredtobepurchasedbystudents.

11)VNIT campus is approx. 6 Kms from the Nagpur Railway Station and approx charges to come to VNIT
CampusbyprepaidautorickshawisRs.150/.
