Supervisors voted Tuesday to remove
a provision for smart growth from the
township ordinance a decision that
could derail any new plans for high-den-
sity development in the township.
I feel, and most people here feel, it does
not belong in East Earl Township, board

Food court opens Friday, exhibitions open to public Saturday
ennsylvania agriculture is ready to take center stage again this week-
end as the state Farm Show opens in Harrisburg. The show, featuring
agricultural displays, livestock judging, farm equipment, vendors
and more different kinds of Keystone State-produced food than you
can shake a fork at, opens to the public Saturday. The Farm Show Food Court, in
the Weis Exposition Hall, is open to the public from noon to 9 p.m. Friday.
