To whom it may concern,

I am interested in applying for a job as a counselor in The YMCA Day

Camp Spring Lake. I would like to be hired as a volunteer counselor during this
summer break. I am interested in applying for this volunteering experience
because I want to communicate with the public such as the children and the
parents, and I would like to gain experiences on leading small groups for
different activities. This job vacancy was referred to me by my teacher as she
said that the YMCA camp is hiring counselors. I would really like to be a part of
this family as I heard that the volunteering experiences are fun and great. I
would like to have a fun time on gaining my experiences, learning more skills
and I would like to be a part of the cheerful family.

I am currently studying in Sunway International School. As I am good at

communicating, I guarantee that I will make the children feel welcomed and
cared during the day camp programs. I am also responsible and I will take full
responsibility when Ive done something wrong. I will also be responsible of the
safety of the children and I will ensure that all of the participants are going to
have fun in the camp in a safe way. I am a patient person and that is key for this
position. By having patience, I am able to handle different kinds of difficulties
and situations in a reasonable and effective way. I am an organized person
physically and mentally too. By balancing my school work and extracurricular
activities, I am able to endure high levels of stress without getting frustrated or
annoyed easily. Physically, I am able to organize myself well, including my
surroundings, which is beneficial because I am able to organize and ensure the
tidiness of the campsite. I would also describe myself as someone thats
enthusiastic and passionate about the things that they do. When I am engaged
in a certain type of activity, I will always put in full effort. I will make sure that
all jobs are done neatly and with high quality. In the past, Ive been commended
on being a great leader in class. I believe, I will be able to lead the children and
I am able to allow the children to experience different kinds of fun activities
during the camp.
