Enrolment :
Glücklich Schoolhouse is very pleased to have Ares who joined us in
April 2010. Ares is with Toddlers class (Rabbit) settled very well within
his first few days in school. We wish he continues to spend the best of
his time here with us.
Teacher Dawn, who is also our Principal, will head and manage our school’s
Curriculum Division. She is also the teacher-in-charge for Kindergarten 2
class (Elephant) with immediate effect. As a very experienced educator,
she will help our K2 children to better prepare for Primary 1 education.
We look forward to formally introduce them to you during our next PTM,
but in the meantime, you can meet them at school (when you send / fetch
your child) .
The objective of this PTM, is to allow parents to clearly view the results
of the children’s learning exposure and hopefully, better understand the
purpose of a given care and curriculum/play. Thus, this PTM is applicable
for children who have been with the school before February 2010. Please
understand that we need adequate time to be with the children for
proper observation and feedback.
There will be the usual “one to one” parents and teachers’ meetings and a
“mass” meeting for parents to K2 children only, similar to the one
conducted in June 2009.
The “one to one” meetings will be conducted over three days from
Tuesday, 25 May through Thursday, 27 May 2010. Please contact us (via
email or call or SMS at our school’s mobile phone 82233784) to book your
preferred meeting time for the PTM. The timings are as follows:
With the above change of plan on our PTM schedule, we will postpone the
MCYS’ Approved Closure Day scheduled for Friday, 4 June 2010 to
Friday, 18 June 2010.
We will leave school at 9.30 am and expect to be back at 4.30 pm. Please
fetch your child, early or latest by 5.00pm that day.
Warmest Regards:
Glücklich Schoolhouse
PS: Our copies of the Parents’ Info Update are sent through email to keep up with the Information Age, & to
help keep the Earth a greener place by reducing paper usage. But, if you are more comfortable reading
printouts, a hardcopy of this is also available upon request.
