figure(Perimeter).

8.10 The student will a) verify the Pythagorean Theorem; and b) apply the
Pythagorean Theorem.
8.11 The student will solve practical area and perimeter problems involving
composite plane figures.

Introduction Warm-up on Tax, Tip, and Discount and Percentages: 12 minutes


(Hook) 1. Students will complete 5 problems by themselves
STAGE3 2. After 6 minutes, I will go over the warm-ups with them
3. 1 minute transition to notes
Instructional 1. Warm-up 12 min (1 min transition)

REFLECTION I thought my lesson went really well. In the beginning I was a little nervous, but as

progressed on, I started to feel confident in my teaching and aiding the students
as they raised their hands. I am also very proud of my students because they had
a quiz after their practice problems and they did a phenomenal job on the quiz
