To Whom It May Concern:
It is with great pleasure that I recommend Nicole Arsenault for a teaching position. It was my
privilege to have served as Nicoles AP English 11: Language and Composition teacher her junior year.
From the very beginning of the school year, Nicole was eager to interact with her fellow classmates and
myself in order to master the skills required for success both in and out of the classroom. As a result, I
find Nicole to be a highly motivated and mature student who is serious about academia and her success in
life. To say she is a hard worker is an understatement; here is a young lady who attends extra credit
opportunities for the experience rather than the boost to her grade, who seeks help when needed, who
naturally positions herself as a leader amongst her classmates, and who strives for excellence. She is
engaged, dedicated, and seeks to challenge herself on a daily basis. Her traits prepare her for success in
the classroom, but it is often excellent students that become life-long, talented educators.
Nicole manages a full load at school by taking multiple AP courses and simultaneously dedicating
herself to her passion: ballet. While others (with fewer demands on their schedule) complained about
meeting deadlines or facing the rigor my class entailed, Nicole met the challenge head-on. She never
missed a deadline, and the quality of her work was consistently high. It is not uncommon for teachers to
face entitlement and apathy in the classroom, but Nicole was never a problem student. Instead, while
juggling her many responsibilities, she manages to maintain an impressive grade point average. It is my
opinion that any educational institution would benefit from the talents of this committed young woman.
Her dedication and motivation, knowledge, and her rapport with fellow students, faculty, and
administration form the foundation of a highly successful learner. Her presence, her preparation, her
professional manner, the response of her peers, and the smile on her face immediately let others know that
Nicole is happy and at home in an educational environment where she can continue to thrive while
helping others to do the same.
Respectfully,
Ashley Meyer
