BLADE MATERIAL
Blade materials are always hotly debated
because there is no such thing as the perfect
blade steel. This is why opinions tend to
differ. Most blades are made of carbon
steel or stainless steel. As the name implies,
stainless steel is really corrosion resistant,
much more than carbon steel, which is
prone to rust fairly quickly when its not
well cared for. However, stainless steel
isnt as tough as carbon steel and
more difficult to sharpen. When
looking at robustness, ease of
use and sharpness, carbon
steel wins hands down. Bear
in mind, though, that when
you are not the caring

might be the better
option for you.
NUMBER OF BLADES
Contrary to what is commonly said, less is not always more;
especially when talking about pocketknives. These come in
all sorts of variations, from single blade to multi blade, while
not forgetting really intricate types such as Swiss Army
