Rehearsed and conducted 5th-12th grade band students on a daily basis at elementary, middle and
high schools, including beginning brass and percussion classes and full bands.
Developed lesson plans, conducted concerts, and assisted with all aspects of the band program

Performed in the percussion section of the top wind ensemble at the University of Michigan

Performed two public full-length solo percussion recitals at the University of Michigan,

Organized and attended the annual overnight trip to the Michigan Music Conference (MMC)
for more than 40 music students, including planning of hotel arrangements/ transportation and
providing on-call accessibility for Michigan student chapter
Assisted in leading and organizing several NAfME Chapter events, planned and worked on several
projects benefitting the music community
Attended the Michigan Music Conference for three years; attended several professional development
lectures
