Execution-

Task to subordinate units (1 LVL UP)-

Concept of Operations-
The purpose of this operation is to prevent SAPA from reinforcing their IDF position at OBJ
Copenhagen

We will accomplish this by setting an ambush on OBJ Kodiak

Decisive to this operation is proper employment of claymore mines

It is decisive because claymore is the biggest casualty producing weapon and will achieve
surprise and violence of action when initiating the ambush

Scheme of Maneuver-

Order of march- 2nd, 1st, 3rd

AA to ORP-
We will travel in a platoon column squad column fire team wedge formation for 300 m on a 248
degree azimuth. We will handrail the path at a distance of 40 m to maintain limit of visibility

When we reach the LDA, 2nd squad will cross first and pull security (Alpha near security and
bravo far security). 1st and 3rd squads will follow through.

Continue order of march for 150 m at a 227 degree azimuth. We will take ORP by force. Pull
security in a cigar shape (1st squad 12-6 and 2nd squad 6-12 clockwise)

Leaders Recon -

I will take RTO, 1st and 2nd SL, all of third squad. I will place third squad for the left and right
limit security. Set location of claymore and designate kill zone

Myself, the RTO, 1st and 2nd SL will return to the ORP to retrieve the rest of the platoon
ORP to the Release Point-

We will travel in a platoon column squad column fire team wedge formation for 190 m on a 242
degree azimuth. We will set up our ambush line at the OBJ, lining up with third squad. 2nd
squad on right and 1st on left. PSG will be with 2nd squad. Security will notify when enemy is
seen with ASIP, when SAPA enters kill zone, the PL will initiate fire by setting off claymore, in
the event that the claymore does not detonate the PL will open fire with her weapon to initiate
the ambush.

We will fire at a sustained rate for 90 seconds, then assault through on line. Once we have
reached our LOA, we will establish 360 security with third squad will pull security to the north of
the trail while second squad pulls security to the south of the trail. 1st squad will conduct EPW,
once completed 1st will replace 2nd squad to conduct aid and litter and demo.

Once demo is set we will withdraw according to the red, white, and blue plan and consolidate at
the release point. From the release point we will return to the ORP.

1st- EPW

2nd - aid and litter, demo

3rd- security

Fire control measures -

The PL will select TLPs during leaders recon

PL will initiate fire by setting off claymore, in the event that the claymore does not detonate the
PL will open fire with her weapon to initiate the ambush.

Timeline-

1545 - SP

1610 - arrive at ORP

1615 - leaders recon

1630 - leave orp

1645 - initiate fire

1655 - mission complete

1710 - off OBJ

Contingencies -

Contact - if we take contact at any point before reaching OBJ we will conduct battle drill one
alpha (react to contact)

IDF - if we take contact we will move out of the range of the weapon engaging up

IED - conduct the 5 Cs and wait for further instruction

EPW - we will conduct the 5 Ss which include search, segregate, silence, separate, safeguard,
tag.

KIA - will be collected at the CCP

4. Sustainment

Location of CCP -

During movement - traveling CCP 100 m to the rear

On OBJ the primary CCP will be on OBJ (46582648), secondary will be at release point
