Promotes Chess in Cebu by organizing Chess tournaments and events such as the Chess
Lecture and Simultaneous Exhibition of GM Oliver Barbosa during the opening in April.

Provides a systematic training to aspiring players with the aim to reach the students
desired goals.

Prepares talents for National and International competitions. Coaches Candidate Master
Jerish Velarde who grabbed his title in the 9-under Asian Schools Chess Championship.

Coaches for Schools in Cebu: University of Cebu, Marie Ernestine School, Ateneo de
Cebu.
