The season of Advent is a time of preparation for the Solemnities of Christmas, in which the First Coming
of the Son of God to humanity is remembered, and likewise a time when, by remembrance of this, minds
and hearts are led to look forward to Christs Second Coming at the end of time. For these two reasons,
Advent is a period of devout and expectant delight. (UNLYC 39)

As part of the spiritual preparation of the faithful for the Christmas Season, our parish will hold its annual
Advent Recollection on December 05, 2015, Saturday at 3:00 in the afternoon. This will be attended by
the parishioners, members of the ministries, mandated organizations of the parish, and the mall goers.

In connection to this, may we ask your permission to hold our Advent Recollection at the Chapel of Fish-
ers of Men on the said schedule. This will also give people from other parishes near the mall the oppor-
tunity to prepare themselves spiritually through attendance of the said recollection.
