. Familiarize yourself with all them but only memorize (if you have the
time) the important structures. In other words, those structures that
are either reduced or oxidized by a cofactor.

I would however know the major rate limiting enzymes and what a
metabolite for glycolysis could be.
I would be familiar with enzymes and substrates of glycolysis, Krebs,
oxidative phosphorylation/electron transport; also know the hormonal
cascades (in general and what specific responses can be used as
examples). Don't underestimate the amount of biochemistry on the
exam;
So if you're aiming for the top, I'd advise knowing the nitty gritty, or at
least the nitty gritty that's presented in (Kaplan since I can't speak for
other review books).
