The bible verse used by myself and Olivia Bonvenuto was in Corinthians 5:17. It said

So whoever is in Christ is a new creation. The old things have passed away; Behold, new

things have come. This is the greatest quote ever. It is truly aw-inspiring and I know it will

help me when I am down. I know God will grant me strength when times are tough and he will

give me new hope when I feel helpless. The conditional statement for the first part of the quote

is If you are in Christ then you are a new creation. This is not necessarily true. If you believe

in God you may not always be a new creation. You may be ninety years old and have believed

in God most of your life. The converse statement is If you are a new creation then you are in

Christ. This may not be true also, as some babies are born and do not believe in God for some

of their life or may not be baptized until they are older.

The inverse form is If you are not in Christ, then you are not a new creation. This is

not true because some people have changed their ways and became a better person, but they may

not necessarily believe in God as their savior. They are born anew, but they are not in Christ

because they may not believe in him. The contrapositive form is If you are not a new creation,

then you are not in Christ. This is not true because a lot of people believe in God, and have

been faithful followers for much of their life. This does not make them not in Christ, they have

been good for a lot of their lives. The inverse, converse, and contra positional forms of this bible

passage are not true.
