It is as our face -to -face discussion of last week. In principle, I agree that we take various means to
force VRINGO and NOKIA into submission. At the same time, we need to make an appointment
with Yu Chunhui, a judge of Intermediate People's Court, to discuss whether the ruling is
appropriate under current environment.

In addition, among several patents of Vringo involved in lawsuits, there are a limited number of
lethal lawsuits (in 7 cases, 3 cases initially identified as knotty ones). We will consider it in the
subsequent comprehensive assessment.

Domestic counterclaim of Vringo case

Mr. Hu,

Last week, we reported Nokia negotiation progress and coping strategies to Mr. Kan and Mr. Sun
(Mobile Dept). Our preliminary consideration is that we may initiate an antitrust litigation against
Vringo and a litigation ruling FRAND rate (refer to F7 case) at home. Please evaluate its
feasibility and occasion. Later on, I will send the petition of IDCC case to you for your reference.

If you agree with this strategy, we need to make preparations as soon as possible, including
determination of a law firm and completion of prosecution materials.
