Important Sage ERP MAS 90 and 200 Extended Solutions

Update
The incorporation of select Extended Solutions titles main features and functionality into Sage
ERP MAS 90 and 200 4.4 is well under way. Product Update 1, released in April, included
features and functionality of seven titles, along with many additional customer-requested
features. Product Update 2, just released, includes the main features and functionality of four
more titles, along with many new highly requested features.

Feedback on the timing of our plans to incorporate additional Extended Solution titles on our
previously published roadmap has been mixed. In order to provide the most value to
customers in the most efficient manner possible, we have reevaluated the Extended Solutions
titles based on the volume of enhancement requests that are associated with the titles’
features and functionality. Based on this customer feedback reassessment, we have revised
our plans — accelerating the incorporation of the highest ranking titles and retiring an
additional 24 titles that are associated with the fewest requests. The code for the newly
retired 24 titles is now available to our Source Code Development Partners. Please see below
for the list of 24 titles and the updated incorporation roadmap schedule.

We will soon begin communicating this Extended Solutions roadmap change to Sage ERP MAS
90 and 200 customers. To assist you in your customer communication efforts, we’ll also
provide you with a list showing owners of the affected Extended Solutions title(s) where you
are Reseller of Record.

Customers have a loud voice in our future roadmap and in features and functionality that will
be incorporated into our next Sage ERP MAS 90 and 200 releases, following 4.5. Please
encourage customers to use our new feedback and request site
www.sagemas.com/MAS_90_200_feedback to let their voice be heard. All partners and
customers can sign up, view ideas already submitted, suggest new ideas, collaborate on
suggested enhancements, and–most importantly-vote on the ideas that they value. It just
takes a few minutes to participate.

Important Dates:

 As of October 1, 2010, we will no longer sell the 24 titles shown below, and those titles
will drop off customer renewal notices
 Between now and October 1, 2010, we will offer the 24 titles for 50% off with no M&S
 As of February 1, 2011, we will no longer provide version 4.3 code for retired titles
 As of February 1, 2011, we will no longer provide 4.3 compatibility or product updates
for any retired Extended Solutions titles (Sage will provide 2010 year-end updates for
retired and to-be-incorporated titles)
 Until February 1, 2011, we will continue to provide procedural support for versions as
specified on the Sage ERP MAS 90 and 200 Supported Platform Matrix
 Customers on plan who own one or more of the 32 titles being incorporated will
continue to receive 4.3 compatibility or product updates until such time that the
features and functionality are incorporated into the core product
 Once Extended Solutions titles are incorporated into the core product, those titles will
drop off customer renewals
 As of September 30, 2010, Sage ERP MAS 90 and 200 version 3.71 will no longer be
supported—no 2010 year-end updates will be provided for version 3.71
Reminders:

 For new sales of retired Extended Solutions titles, customers should purchase directly
from you, working with a Source Code Development Partner (not from Sage), and if
necessary bring the code up to 4.4

File Center
 The select group of titles that we will continue to sell is also available on the Extended
