PROGRAMS
HEALTH

Providing quality health care access to those in the rural communities in the North
Central Zone of Nigeria is our primary target. The need for this critical intervention
cannot be overstated as majority of the people in the region live in underserved
communities with limited health care facilities. In some cases, people have to travel
for hours to city centers to get health care.

Aside being cut off from standard health care services, most of the people in rural
areas are not captured in the National Health Insurance Scheme, a program which
ought to provide healthcare guarantees to the public. The impact of this is felt in
high mortality rate and vulnerability among the Nigerian rural population.

Our goal therefore is to make standard healthcare available and affordable to those
in rural communities through:

1. Establishment of health care facilities,

2. Rehabilitation and provision of support to existing Community Health Care
Centers
3. Sponsorship of medical outreaches and intervention programs in hard to
reach communities.
4. Provision of endowment funds for health care research and disease
prevention.

OUR ON-GOING HEALTH CARE PROJECT

The Construction Of 65 Bed Secondary Hospital Facility In Kwande

We are currently in the finishing stage of the construction of a 65 bed hospital

in Kwande, Qua'an Pan L.G.A of Plateau State. The Hospital will deliver
secondary healthcare services. Apart from the Primary Health Care Center in
the community which was rehabilitated by us in 2014, the people of the
community and environment have to travel tens of kilometer to access
secondary health care.

The hospital will be completed and functional by the end of October, 2017. It
will provide essential social health care services to over 200,000 people in
the surrounding communities. Our goal is to make sure the Hospital is as
affordable as possible for the end users. This will be made possible through:

a. The endowment funds from the Foundation

b. The support of our local and international partners with who we are
currently concluding plans for free and subsided medical supplies and
assistance.

c. Voluntary medical services from our team of medical volunteers

d. Implementation of the National Health Insurance Scheme for the

informal sector

Management: The Hospital will be staffed and managed by highly qualified

and experienced medical personnel. Attached to the Hospital is the staff
quarter apartments for resident doctors.

Competition (ILSC), targeted at pupils in the Junior secondary grade. The first
edition of the competition will be held in October 2017.

The program will be implemented in collaboration with the relevant

Government agencies. It will promote historical and cultural awareness. The
essence is to ensure the preservation of indigenous languages and at the
same time, enhance peace and harmony through cross-cultural education
and integration.

The foundation is meticulously working on developing a scholarship scheme

fully rolled-out by 2018 and will form part of the strategic goals of the
