This course is intended for personsresponsible for inspecting and checking scaffolds for
safe use and for signing certificates and registers in accordance with statutory TARGET AUDIENCE

Any scaffolder who has completed the training and assessment aspects of the Part 1
and Part 2 courses but needs to build / complete a portfolio to obtain the NVQ / QCF
AIM to obtain his/her card.
The overall aim is to develop in delegates an understanding of scaffold components,
forms of construction and inspection procedures of basic access scaffold and to comply
with current legislation and Codes of Practice.

Candidates will be shown how to build a Portfolio using a range of evidence obtained

This course is intended for personsresponsible for inspecting and checking scaffolds for

and Part 2 courses but needs to build / complete a portfolio to obtain the NVQ / QCF
