Overview
RTD PT-100 sensors are widely used in temperature measurement applications in the range -
100 to +500 oC. The SIM 2.0 RTD Conditioning & Isolation modules offer a perfect interface
between the field mounted RTD sensor & the PLC/DCS system used for measurement and
control application.
The SIM 2.0 RTD interface modules have In-built RTD Non-Linearity compensation circuit,
which results in corrected non-linearity error less than 0.4% over the entire PT-100
measurement range of -200 to+850C.
The In-built Cable Resistance Compensation feature helps in avoiding errors due to resistance
of the connecting wire when the RTD is connected in 3-Wire configuration. Cable lengths in
excess of 100 meters can be used without introducing error in the measurement.
