Chapter 3/Title: meaning of the sanskrit word. Gua is such a word.
A

gua is an energenic quality that is solely or a mix of the
atha grahaguasvarupdhyya||3|| guas known as sattva, rajas, and tamas. Sattva refers to
a quality of purity, equalibrium, light, etc. Rajas has
=now qualities of movement, desire, ego, etc. Tamas has a
=graha quality of stagnation, darkness, etc. Everything in the
=guna [quality related to Sattva, Rajas and Tamas]
nature has some gua attached to it. This chapter will
=ones own state the different energenic qualities of the grahas. The
=form form of the grahas will also be detailed. It is important to
=to meditate note that grahas have a manifest form unlike the zodical
=masculine a stem, singular, nominative signs detailed in the next chapter.
Chapter 3: Now, a meditation on the graha gua and their

form.
This chapter lays out the gua and the svarupa of the
grahas [planets]. Sometimes it is best to stick with the
very word stated in the sanskrit given an english
