Comments: It has been a pleasure teaching Josh over these past 6 weeks. He is a helpful young man with a strong desire to support his teachers and peers. Josh is comfortable to joke and converse with the teachers and students in his classroom, and has the potential to create a very comfortable learning environment for his peers as a result. He is very quick to take responsibility for his actions. When driven Josh is extremely successful in his work.
Joshs Areas of Strength: *When Josh is excited or inspired by a project, he jumps in with full enthusiasm, giving new energy to a class project. *Josh is not shy to share his thoughts, opinions and learning with the class which has been very valuable in prompting engagement of other students in the class. *Josh is always quick to offer assistance around the school and class. He is genuinely kind spirited with a desire to be there for his peers and teachers. He is often the first to step up.
Joshs Areas of Need: *Josh has made great progress in his self-awareness, but still needs to work on managing his behaviour (particularly verbal expression) in the classroom. A specific aspect of this is learning to manage the expressions of his feelings during particularly stressful seasons in his life. *When working on projects Josh needs to practice breaking down his task into manageable steps to avoid feeling overwhelmed by the work in front of him.

Comments: Jazmine has been an exciting student to get to know over the year and has been a joy to teach over the past 6 weeks. Jazmine is quick to offer her opinions in the classroom, adding to the atmosphere of honesty in our classroom. When inspired by a project, Jazmine is very self- determined and productive, a force to be reckoned with. Jazmine brings energy to our classroom on a daily basis.
Jazmines Areas of Strength: *Jazmine is very spirited and adds energy and enthusiasm to our class. *Jazmine likes to be challenged, and is usually receptive to suggestions and feedback from her teachers. *When Jazmine feels engaged with a topic or project she goes all in, which is evident in the work that inspires her.
Jazmines Areas of Need: *Completing her work to the criteria and level requested of her. Jazmine often focuses on aspects that are attractive to her in a project and will miss key expectations. Jazmine is working, with support, on checking her work to make sure it meets criteria. *Jazmine is continuing to develop her social skills in recognizing the power and consequences of her actions towards other students. Through this she is learning to take ownership of her behavior.
