Dimas : Hey, Martha! Do you want to go to the beach?

Martha : I think it's too hot to go to the beach. Maybe later?

Dimas : C'mon! You can use an umbrella. It will be cold enough once you get in

the water.

Martha : Okay, then.

Martha : Oh no! There are too many people here!

Dimas : Don't worry! There's enough space for everyone.

Martha : I will go ahead to swim.

Dimas : Okay, be careful.

Martha : Brrr! You're right. The water is too cold for me.

Dimas : How about surfing then?

Martha : I don't know. I think the rental cost is too expensive for me. I don't

have enough money to pay it.

Dimas : It's okay. I will treat you.

Hai Sinta. What did you do in previous holiday?

Sinta :

I went to Bali with my family. And you?

Fita :

Bali? Wow Sound nice! I just stayed at home.

Sinta :

Fita :

Because my mom was sick.

Fita :

Its okay. By the way, what did you do there?

Sinta :

First, I went to Tanah Lot. I bought some clothes and took many pictures there.

Fita :

Was Tanah Lot interesting?

Sinta :

Then? Where did you go after it?

Sinta :
I went to hotel. My father booked it before we arrived in Bali.

Fita :

Did your hotel near with Sanur Beach?

Sinta :

No. It is near with Kuta Beach. We can go there by foot.

Fita :

Wow Next time I wanna be there too.

Sinta :

Yup!

Fita :

Then, tell me. What did you do in hotel?

Sinta :

I did not remember at all. I just spent my little time there. I went to some

places so I just took a rest in hotel.

Fita :

Where did you go?

Sinta :

I went to mall and I bought many things there.

Fita :

What did you feel at the time?

Sinta :

I was happy and I would not go home soon.

Fita :

Yeah, that has a strong reason for it.

Sinta :

Then, what did you do at home?

Fita :
I cooked with my mom, played with my sister, then slept along day. And it was

repeating at the time.

Sinta :

Kemana kamu akan pergi liburan besok?

I want to go to Pahawang.

Apakah itu tempat yang bagus?

Sita :

Of course. My brother always tell me about it.

Apakah kakakmu tinggal di Lampung?

Sita :

Thats right. Will you go there with me next holiday?

Itu benar. Maukah kamu pergi kesana denganku liburan besok.

Nana :

How we reach there?

Bagaimana kita bisa kesana.

Sita :

My brother will take us if we want.

Kakakku akan menjemput kita kalau kita mau.

Nana :

Where will we take a night there?

Dimana kita akan bermalam disana.

Sita :

In my brothers house. Never mind, there are also exist his wife and his two

daughter.

Di rumah kakakku. Tidak apalah, disana juga ada istrinya dan kedua anak

perempuannya.

Nana :

Thats sound good. I will join you.

Sita :

Example 1:
Frank : So, how was your holiday? (jadi, bagaimana liburanmu?)

July : It was amazing. Nepal is the most beautiful country that Ive ever

visited (Ini luar biasa. Nepal adalah negara terindah yang pernah aku kunjungi).

Frank : Really? what were you doing on your vacation? (Sungguh? apa yang kamu

lakukan pada liburanmu?)tempat indah seperti apa yang telah kamu kunjungi?)

July : Hmmm.. I followed the trip to climb the mount Everest, its the highest

mount of the world (Hmm.. Aku mengikuti perjalanan untuk mendaki gunung

Everest, ini adalah gunung tertinggi di dunia).

Frank : Wow, I cant imagine it! did you go with your parents? (Wow, aku tak bisa

membayangkannya! apakah kamu pergi bersama orang tuamu?).

July : No, I went to Nepal just with my friends (No, aku pergi ke Nepal hanya

dengan teman-temanku).

Example 2:
Sandara : Hallo John, do you have any plan to next weekend? (Halo John, apakah

kamu punya rencana untuk akhir pekan depan?).

John : No, I dont (Tidak, aku tidak punya).

Sandara : Will you join us to go to Pahawang Island? Pahawang has beautiful

beach, you can also do snorkeling there (kankah kamu bergabung dengan kami

untuk pergi ke Pulau Pahawang? Pahawang memiliki pantai yang indah, kamu juga

bisa snorkeling di sana).

John : Snorkeling? thats my hobby! I like snorkeling very much since I

tried it in Bunaken last year (Snorkeling? itu adalah hoiku. Aku sangat menyukai

snorkeling sejak aku mencobanya di Bunaken tahun lalu).

Sandara : Really? thats my hobby too (Sungguh? itu hobiku juga).

John : What I have to prepare to this trip? (Apa yang harus aku persiapkan

untuk perjalanan ini?).

Sandara : Not many. You just bring your sun block if dont won your skin be

dark. haha(Tidak banyak. Kamu cukup membawa sun block mu jika tidak ingin

kulitmu menjadi gelap. haha).

John : Hahahah. I see, I see (hahahah. aku tahu, aku tahu).

Example 3:
Lizzie : I think I cant enjoy my holiday this year. I have so many assigments to

finished(Aku pikir aku tak bisa menikmati liburanku tahun ini. Aku punya banyak

tugas untuk diselesaikan).

Laura : Dont be sad, why we dont go vacation after your assigments

finish? (jangan sedih, mengapa kita tidak pergi liburan setelah tugas-tugasmu

selesai?).

Lizzie : If like that, maybe we only have two days to go to a vacation (Jika

seperti itu, mungkin kita hanya punya dua hari untuk pergi ke sebuah liburan.

Laura : Its not too bad, Lizzie. Bandung is near from our home. We can visit

many beautiful places there (Itu tidak terlalu buruk, Lizzie. bandung dekat dari

rumah kita. Kita dapat mengunjungi banyak tempat indah disana).

Lizzie : Thanks Laura for your suggestion (terimakasih laura untuk

masukanmu).

Laura : Anytime (Sama-sama).

Gloria is going to take a vacation. She and her husband haven't had a vacation

for a long time. But something has come up. Her boss would like her to postpone

it. What will Mary do?

Niles: When are you gonna take your vacation?

Gloria: I was planning to take it at the end of this month. My husband and I

haven't had a chance to have a vacation over the past three years. So we are

planning to travel to Europe this time. Why! Has something come up?

Niles: Well, would it be too inconvenient for you to wait until next month?

Gloria: Hm....not really. I guess I can put it off until next month, but I've got to

talk about it with my husband.

Arya : Hi Erna, why do you collect many stamps?

Erna : Ohh. Hi Arya. I am collecting the stamps for my collection.

Arya : What do you mean?

Erna : Yes, actually my hobby is collecting stamps.

Arya : Why do you like collecting stamps?

Erna : Because I like to see the unique pictures of the stamps. How about

you, what is your hobby.

Arya : Hmm I think I dont have hobby. Should we have a hobby?

Erna : Not really. But in our lives we must have something we like most which

is called hobby.

Arya : So, hobby is a pleasure. Then, I think I have a hobby now.

Erna : Of course, so what is your hobby?

Arya : I like to read comics especially detective Conan.

Erna : That is your hobby. Reading comic. Do you have all of detective Conans

collection?

Arya : Yes, I do. I even go to the black market because the original comics

have not yet been published. How about your stamps collection?

Erna : So far I have collected stamps from some countries but I still should

find other stamps.

Arya : Do you need much money for your hobby?

Erna : Yes of course I need much money because I order the stamps so it

costs little bit expensive.

Arya : Wow. Your hobby is expensive.

Erna : Yeah but I like to do it.

Arya : Okay good luck with your hobby.

Erna : Thank you.
