sources
This list includes the titles I brought for the course, plus references to one or two more. There
are many more such books, and looking for the ones below will give you directions for finding
other ones. Be prepared to read a few books of stories before you find ones you really want to
tell!

More Books about Storytelling:

Paran, A & Watts, E Storytelling in ELT (published by IATEFL)

DVD)

Holt, David & Mooney, Bill Spiders in the Hairdo (Urban Legends for older children)
Laird, Elizabeth A Fistful of Pearls, and other tales from Iraq (one of many by
country)

author)

storyteller)
Schwartz, Alvin Scary Stories to tell in the Dark (one of a series of US
campfire stories)
