Andhra Pradesh is on a fast track to go digital and
provide an impetus for education in Digital Technologies
The government has worked relentlessly to create an
atmosphere brimming with intellect and innovation, in
collaboration with partners and institutions from across
the world. While contributing to the renewed vigor of
the Indian economy, the government has emphasized
on research and innovation in academics as the key to
the future.
As the new digital economy grows, there is an
increasing gap in skill sets as traditional IT skills
become obsolete. To pre-empt this increasing gap, the
Andhra Pradesh Government realized the potential to
establish a pre-eminent institute to impart the various
aspects of Digital Technology education.
This led to the Genesis of IIDT, International Institute of

IIDT is a unique initiative by the Andhra
Pradesh government which is aimed at
unlocking the potential of this enlightened age,
and which strives towards enabling the role of
digital technologies in innovating for a better
future. IIDT has set itself the goal of becoming
one of the top 100 Digital Technology
Institutions in the world by 2022. IIDT will be an
academic platform to bring pioneers and
enablers of digital innovation including
academics, entrepreneurs, investors and
mentors together on a single platform. The
platform aims to educate, connect, support
and promote all its digital-centric stakeholders.

Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) is a

established by an act of State Universities in
1954. It is the second oldest University in
Andhra Pradesh and was founded in 1954
by the Chief Minister Tanguturi Prakasam
Pantulu.
