Rehoboth Beach VegFest
When: June 10, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Epworth United Methodist Church, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
What: VegFest is a free annual festival that celebrates healthy, sustainable and compassionate living. The
centerpiece of the weekend-long event is the festival at Epworth on Saturday. It features vegan food, yoga
village, tons of vendors and exhibitors, animals and more.
Cost: $65
Where were at: Accepted! Steve submitted our application and the $65 vendor fee in March and we were
accepted as one of the 2017 vendors. We still need to create an all-vegan menu. We also must provide
proof of a valid business license and a certificate of liability insurance naming Epworth United Methodist
Church as additional insureds. The documents must be emailed by June 1.
Where were at: Rejected. This event was not one we originally starred after looking at the master list,
and it is also the same day as VegFest. Steve applied and submitted a $25 application fee, but we were
rejected because we are not part of the Maryland Mobile Food Vending Association.
Where were at: According to Steve, there arent any more full spots available for the fair. Steve called
Robin, the concessions manager, and she mentioned we might be able to get a vendor spot at the craft
beer festival on the first Saturday of the fair (July 22). Miranda will call Robin this week for more
information and to see if there is a separate application process.

today, the food vendor spaces for this event are sold out. We can still email ashlee@kegsandcorksfest.com
to go on the waiting list.
Where were at: This was not one of the events we originally starred after viewing the master list. Steve
filled out an application, but the vendor fee is $2500 with a $500 security deposit. If this sounds doable,
we should get this application in as soon as possible.
Where were at: The vendor application online is the same as 2016. Miranda will call the Berlin Chamber
of Commerce this Tuesday, March 14 to confirm this is the correct application.
