Berlin Spring Celebration


When: April 15, 10 a.m. 4 p.m.
Where: Downtown Berlin, Maryland
What: Family-friendly outdoor celebration to welcome the new season, immediately follows the little
league parade
Cost: TBD

Where were at: No information yet. Miranda will call the Berlin Chamber of Commerce this Tuesday,
March 14 for the vendor applications for all Berlin events on this list.

Salisbury Bicycle Party


When: April 22, times TBD
Where: Downtown Salisbury, Maryland
What: The City of Salisbury is throwing its first-ever town-wide bicycle party with live music, vendors
and a day of bicycle riding. We are the only food truck at this event.
Cost: TBD Maybe free?

Where were at: At the next SBY Bike Party meeting Carol and Miranda will be asking more specific
questions about the forms we have to fill out to attend this event. The meeting is scheduled for mid-
March.

Shore Craft Beer Festival Chincoteague


When: April 29, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Chincoteague Fairgrounds, Chincoteague, Virginia
What: The Shore Craft Beer Fest: Chincoteague craft beer festival is the only festival taking place this
spring to be both family friendly and pet friendly, and offer unlimited tastings of beer from the best
breweries on the Eastern Shore
Cost: TBD

Where were at: Steve called the Shore Craft people on February 24 and left a message, but we do not
have any vendor information yet. I sent a follow-up email this afternoon and hope to hear back by
Tuesday at the latest.

Berlin Jazz and Blues Festival


When: May 6, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Downtown Berlin, Maryland
What: Jazz and Blues musicians and bands will be lining the streets and stages for a day filled with music
and art. Blues and jazz aficionados, musicians, art lovers and tourists will be out for beautiful weather and
a day of fun for this widely attended, well-loved event. Estimated attendance: 3,000+
Cost: TBD

Where were at: No information yet. Miranda will call the Berlin Chamber of Commerce this Tuesday,
March 14 for the vendor applications for all Berlin events on this list.
Rehoboth Beach VegFest
When: June 10, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Epworth United Methodist Church, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
What: VegFest is a free annual festival that celebrates healthy, sustainable and compassionate living. The
centerpiece of the weekend-long event is the festival at Epworth on Saturday. It features vegan food, yoga
village, tons of vendors and exhibitors, animals and more.
Cost: $65

Where were at: Accepted! Steve submitted our application and the $65 vendor fee in March and we were
accepted as one of the 2017 vendors. We still need to create an all-vegan menu. We also must provide
proof of a valid business license and a certificate of liability insurance naming Epworth United Methodist
Church as additional insureds. The documents must be emailed by June 1.

Annapolis Arts and Wine Festival


When: June 10-11
Where: Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, Annapolis, Maryland
What: This two-day festival celebrates the arts and Marylands vineyards. It features tastings from over 25
different Maryland wineries, live music and great food.
Cost: $25 for application

Where were at: Rejected. This event was not one we originally starred after looking at the master list,
and it is also the same day as VegFest. Steve applied and submitted a $25 application fee, but we were
rejected because we are not part of the Maryland Mobile Food Vending Association.

Delaware State Fair


When: July 20 29
Where: Delaware State Fairgrounds, Harrington, Delaware
What: This is the state fair for Delaware. It is two weeks long.
Cost: TBD

Where were at: According to Steve, there arent any more full spots available for the fair. Steve called
Robin, the concessions manager, and she mentioned we might be able to get a vendor spot at the craft
beer festival on the first Saturday of the fair (July 22). Miranda will call Robin this week for more
information and to see if there is a separate application process.

Berlin Peach Festival


When: August 5, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Main Street Berlin
What: Community festival featuring pie-baking and pie-eating contests, music, craft demonstrations,
games and vendors of handcrafted items and food.
Cost: TBD

Where were at: No information yet. Miranda will call the Berlin Chamber of Commerce this Tuesday,
March 14 for the vendor applications for all Berlin events on this list.

Kegs and Corks


When: August 12, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Anne Arundel Fairgrounds, Crownsville, Maryland
What: Kegs and Corks is the only local festival where you can find 16 Craft Breweries and 16 Maryland
Wineries together, with Live Music that will get you dancing! The 6th Annual Kegs and Corks Festival
will feature unlimited samples of Craft Beer and Maryland Wine, Delicious Food, Awesome Live Bands,
and a variety of Arts and Crafts Vendors.
Cost: $900

Where were at: Steve filled out the application form, but was waiting on a $900 vendor fee check. As of
today, the food vendor spaces for this event are sold out. We can still email ashlee@kegsandcorksfest.com
to go on the waiting list.

The 50th Annual Maryland Seafood Festival


When: September 9-10
Where: Sandy Point State Park, Annapolis, Maryland
What: This years event not only provides festival-goers a venue to feast on all the tasty food the
Chesapeake Bay area has to offer, but also provides attendees an easy way to give back to the community
via a variety of non-profit organizations that will be present at the festival.
Cost: ~$3,000

Where were at: This was not one of the events we originally starred after viewing the master list. Steve
filled out an application, but the vendor fee is $2500 with a $500 security deposit. If this sounds doable,
we should get this application in as soon as possible.

The 25th Annual Berlin Fiddlers Convention


When: September 22-24
Where: Main Street Berlin, Maryland
What: The Berlin Fiddlers Convention this year is being held right on Main Street here in berlin. Friday
night the stage will be on Main Street before Stevenson United Methodist church. Saturday the stage will
be on Main Street in front of the Atlantic hotel. Handicap parking will be located at 14 south main street.
There will also be a shuttle running from the library to downtown.
Cost: ~$300

Where were at: The vendor application online is the same as 2016. Miranda will call the Berlin Chamber
of Commerce this Tuesday, March 14 to confirm this is the correct application.

WineFest OC
When: September 29-30
Where: The Inlet, Ocean City, Maryland
What: Welcome to the 22nd annual Wine Fest at the beach featuring wineries from the East Coast of the
United States. Micro-Brewed Beers, Delmarva Cuisine, Quality Arts and Crafts, and Local & Regional
Live Music will be focal points of this year's event.
Cost: TBD

Where were at: Steve emailed jj.wine@verizon.net for vendor information on February 24. He has not
heard back yet. Miranda will follow up next week.
Good Beer Festival
When: TBA
Where: Pemberton Park, Salisbury, Maryland
What: The Good Beer Festival in Salisbury, Maryland offers festival-goers unlimited tastings of over 80
different American craft brews, including a Local Beer Garden featuring Eastern Shore breweries.
Cost: ~$475

Where were at: Steve submitted an application and a $475 check for this event, but the form was from
last year. Miranda will follow up next week to make sure we dont need to resubmit anything.

Autumn Wine Festival


When: October 11-12
Where: Pemberton Park, Salisbury, Maryland
What: Produced in partnership with the Maryland Wineries Association, this two day wine festival offers
samplings from plenty of Maryland wineries. If you've enjoyed the Maryland Wine Festival, Wine in the
Woods or any other great wine events, you will love our festival.
Cost: $550

Where were at: Steve submitted the application and the vendor fee of $550. We are just waiting to hear
back, but applications are not due until September 1.
