Numerical RelayS Series

Feeder Protection Relay

Description
S Series is a numerical type protection relay product with a microprocessor for protecting
high/extra-high-voltage electric power system.
This series of protection relay will allow stable and effective control and monitoring of
electric power systems as well as provide high-reliable protection.

Features
Highly Accurate Digital Computation
The digital computation using high-speed sampling minimizes the effect of harmonics,
etc., and result in highly accurate protection.
Self-diagnosis
The continuaously monitoring electronic circuits from input to output can detect
internal failure before that failure causes damage on the power system, thereby
improving reliability.
Operation time characteristics
Sixteen sorts of operation time characteristics are installed as a time-delayed element.
The optimal operation time characteristic can be chosen with the coordinated
characteristic of the overcurrent relay at the sending distribution substation.
Compactly
Various relay elements are contained compactly. It is the best for replacement of
existing.
Energy saving
It is a low power consumption article. The miniaturization of CT and VT is realizable.
