Review work on completion of a brief

Relationship with client-

Liaison with client:

In unit 54, this unit was a digital graphics so all needed to create a dairy for
was to show how I created the graphics. As I didnt complete any dairy in
assignment 2, I did however complete a dairy for unit 54 assignment 3 so this is
the dairy which I am going to use for this section. When it comes to creating the
actual work in assignment 3, the client required a dairy, a diary is when I do my
work in flash, I note done how I done or added in something, this is basically so if
I was to give the dairy out to a friend then they would know how to follow this
dairy and create the same piece of work I did. When I created my graphics in
Photoshop, I screenshotted each step which I did, for example I could have
created a shape and then in my dairy I would screenshot the tool which I used
and then write about it under the image about how I used it and how got the
shape which I needed.
The diary is very handy when it comes to creating new work and you cant
remember how you get the effect you did last time when using photo shop or
flash. The diary is also good when it comes to finding a new skill which you can
then note down for the client to see that you have found/done something new,
which they might find interesting. Below is screenshots of my dairy and how it
should look.

I have had serval

discussion with the
client before but
the only time I had
to create a document
on it was for unit 32

assignment 4, I had to log in each time I spoke with the client

and sate what reason I met with the client for and then had to state how that
chat went, from each meeting with the client I had to write a comment with the
feedback which the client gave me, I had to write 3 detailed paragraphs about
the three important meetings I had with the client, there is the example of what
a discussion with the client looks like. In order for me to get a good grade I had
to do the paragraphs really detailed.

Dealing with
difficulties or
complaints:
Throughout
the assignments I wasnt given any difficulties or complains to state any
evidence for this heading.
Revisions to brief:

This is an image of what assignment brief

looks like. This is the brief of unit 34,
assignment 2. For everything assignment
which I complete I get a new brief, which
states what I need to complete in that
particular assignment. It will state the
tasks which I need to complete, the
scenario of what the client wants me to,
so for this brief the I needed to produce
a 2D animation about healthy eating,
using digital techniques, learners will
work on design, character, setting and
narrative whist developing production techniques. It will also state the
company which I will be working are and the age range which I need to aim
this chosen task at and I must follow these instructions in order for me to
meet the client requirements.
The tasks which feature on the back of the brief is are task which I need to
complete them all otherwise the client requirements are not met. The
requirements was that we had an ILP and we has to create a sources
document, a proposal and we had to do a research task on the chosen
software which we were to use, we had to talk about the alternative choices
of style and the research campaigns which have already been produced
about healthy eating for children.
Revision to plan:
I didnt use revision to plan.
Format-
Evidence needed for a written report/podcast/PPT/pitch:
I have added in 2 examples of what a PowerPoint looks like and a report of work.
These are both good method of different types of work to use. A podcast is used
when the client states that an evaluation isnt needed and a podcast can be
done instead a podcast is short and sweet.

Constrains
experienced-
Regulatory
codes of

practice/Legal:
I have found a legal
and ethical which I had done previously and used
this so that my work which I completed didnt get copyrighted or doesnt go
against any of the laws when it comes to using graphics off the internet etc. legal
and ethical is a good document to have as it states the things which I can do and
the things which I cant do when it comes to using graphics and creating my own
animation. Below is an example of what my legal and ethical and codes of
practice document looks like.
Management-
Time
management and
working to agreed
timescales:
To ensure that I
met the client
requirements, I
had an ILP which in each session I reviewed what I did
in the lesson and then the next time I went to look at
my ILP it would tell me what I did in that session, also
in the ILP it stated what task I needed to complete in
each of the lessons, for example let say on a money
lesson 1 intro to unit 54 ass 2. Sources document. ILP.
Examples. Task 3. Produce a proposal for your
graphics this is what I would need to do in this
lesson to ensure that I met the client requirements and the deadline. To the left is
what a ILP looks like and the boxes which had writing in are the boxes which
work needed completing and then I write a session review at the end of each
session. I do this for all the assignment as it helps me to keep on top of the work
which I do and how much work I have left to do. The example is taken from unit
54 assignment 2.
This is unit 34, assignment 2 this ILP is a lot shorter
than the unit 54 assignment 2 ILP, this shows that in
some assignment there might not be a lot of work
which needs completing so the ILP will be short and
simple, whereas in unit 54 assignment 2, that
assignment is long a long assignment so there is
many more task which need completing so that ILP
will include longer days and more work to complete.
Having a short and simple ILP like unit 34 assignment 2 will make ILP look more
professional and look like there isnt much work that needs to complete. In
different assignments there might only be one task which needs completing so
the ILP will be short and simple. When it comes to ILP making sure that there is a
comment the in box which you completed the session.

An ILP is also good to help the client understand what I do in each session and to
make sure that I am doing the work which I need to do.
Using a timeline is also a good way to help plan out what work I have to
complete to ensure that I meet the deadline. A timeline is something which
allows me to see how long I have to complete a piece of work. It also tells me
what works needs completing on a certain day, it is very similar to an ILP just
using a different method. I think using
different methods to help plan out the
work which needs doing is a good as it
allows me to understand what work I have
to complete in different styles.
I am able to design the timeline in any
style/colour which I want so this will make
it a bit more exciting to complete the work.
Milestone reviews are a good way to note down reviews
about work to ensure that I meet the requirements. When
using a milestone review you have to fill in 5 different
headings, the first heading being task completed since
last milestone which if this is your first milestone review
then this box wont be needed until you come back and do
the second milestone review, the next box states status of
project as a whole which you simply state what you are
doing with your work at that particular time. The next box
which you need to fill in will be tasks planned to be
completed by next milestone in this box you need to state
what you plan to do next after the starting the task, this could be a list of things
to ensure you meet the deadline. Then next box is review of schedule (ILP or
Timeline) so far and identify changes made to schedule this means if there has
been any changed made to the ILP, like if you missed sessions and need to catch
up if you have fallen behind and the last box is additional general comments
this you need to add how you think you are doing.
I think completing milestone review during doing task is better than an ILP or
timeline as it give you time to add in detail what you want to achieve by the next
milestone and asks you questions which you wouldnt think of putting in the ILP,
overall the milestone reviews is a better pre-planned way to achieve the
requirement which you need.
Communication skill have had serval discussion with the client before but the
only time I had to create a document on it was for unit 32
assignment 4, I had to log in each time I spoke with the client and
sate what reason I met with the client for and then had to state how
that chat went, from each meeting with the client I had to write a

about the three important
meetings I had with the client,
there is the example of what a
discussion with the client looks
like. In order for me to get a
good grade I had to do the
paragraphs really detailed.
Meeting requirements:
To ensure that I met the client requirements, I had an
ILP which in each session I reviewed what I did in the
lesson and then the next time I went to look at my ILP
it would tell me what I did in that session, also in the
ILP it stated what task I needed to complete in each of
the lessons, for example let say on a money lesson 1
intro to unit 54 ass 2. Sources document. ILP.
Examples. Task 3. Produce a proposal for your graphics
this is what I would need to do in this lesson to
ensure that I met the client requirements and the
deadline. To the left is what a ILP looks like and the
boxes which had writing in are the boxes which work
needed completing and then I write a session review at
the end of each session. I do this for all the assignment
as it helps me to keep on top of the work which I do and how much work I have
left to do. The example is taken from unit 54 assignment 2.
This is unit 34, assignment 2 this ILP is a lot
shorter than the unit 54 assignment 2 ILP, this
shows that in some assignment there might not
be a lot of work which needs completing so the
ILP will be short and simple, whereas in unit 54
assignment 2, that assignment is long a long
assignment so there is many more task which
need completing so that ILP will include longer days and more work to complete.

Achieving agreed outcomes:

Achieving agreed outcomes is

evidence of the work which I have
competed, when we create a product we
had to screenshot parts of it to
show the client what the product looks
like and to that I have achieved the
agreed outcome which the client
requirements.
Feedback-
From peers:
Getting feedback from my peers is one of the most helpful ways to ensure that
when I comes to creating the work again I know what I need to add in and made
better or I know what to change in order to get the publicity. For questionnaires I
simply design a questionnaire which has around 10 questions on it and then I
print 10 out and get 10 people to fill in the questionnaire, from that I gather the
information and then statically review each of the question to get an overall idea
of how well my animation was and what could be improved on it. And then at the
end of the analysis I simply write a conclusion as how I think the feedback went
and what I could do to improve it.
I need I need to look at my evaluation and the reviews which I got back from the
questionnaire which I give out to 10 students: below is my evaluation and my
questionnaire feedback/review. On the questionnaire I got feedback about my
animation and I asked a number of different questions, from the feedback I got
mixed reviews on one of the questions I asked what could be changed on my
animation and I got given 70% of people said that there isnt anything which
could be changed within my animation, which is good as this means that I
have also done everything which the client wanted me to do and also it
means that the animation is good and will suit the target audience. Whereas I
got 30% of people stated that there could be some improvements, which
stated that there could have been a title at the start of the animation which
I think is a reasonably feedback as it would give an intro as to what they are
actually watching and they might be a little more interested in what they see.
I think that the feedback, which I got, was good feedback, which is going to
help me in the future if I needed to do anything like this again.
And for around 5 of the questionnaires which I asked I did evaluate them and
the other 5 I left. Giving out questionnaires is
helpful as it allows me to know information
about what people would rather see and it
gives me feedback on how to change the
animation or make it different when it comes to
creating a new animation.

Final/overall conclusions/evaluations
When it comes finishing a product, we always create a questionnaire and give it
out to peers to fill in, that way I am able to understand if I met the client
requirements and if the product is fit for purpose. When I have gathered the
information I complete a statistical analysis and at the end of the analysis I
conclude the feedback that I got to help me further understand what thing I
could improve or change or to generally see if the
product is a good working product.
Evaluations are similar to conclusions evaluations state
what I did in my work and if I stuck to the client
requirements.
