According to Peter DeWitt, Sex Education is a topic that should be talked about in high
schools for several positive reasons. Some reasons would be to help prevent teen
pregnancies that may occur in high school. Not only to help prevent but to also allow the
students to gain as much information as possible to be completely aware and know how
to have safe sex if it going to happen. This source is reliable because not only did he give
examples of different stories that are shown in the writing but also he got opinions of

believe in sex after marriage and not only that but they believe that high school should
focus on the basic subjects; reading, writing, science, history, and mathematics. They
have tried making it an elective but not a requirement. This source is useful because not
only does it give examples but it also leads you to the original article about the situation.

Education classes in schools yet if they teach about certain transmitted diseases, they
must meet the following requirements. Yet some of the parents in Texas did not want the
schools to teach about Sex Education. This source also shows the statistical information,
within different cities in Texas and not only that but it also shows the complaints that
has been said of sex before marriage. This is a very reliable source because it also gives
you contact information that support Comprehensive Sexuality Education and states all of

In the Plan International article states some of the outcomes of teenage pregnancies and
how to lower teen pregnancies. This website states that teen pregnancies can be caused
due to the fact that it is not being a major topic in schools. The more we mention, warn,
and talk about the outcomes of teen pregnancies, the more females become aware. Not
only does it say the lack of sex education being taught but it also mentions the dangerous
outcomes. I believe this is a very useful source because it also includes a map of the

cause due to the lack of sex education not being a mandatory lesson taught in most
schools. This website is comparing Texas and California and how preventing teen
pregnancies has been impacted more in California with more positive effects. Not only
does it mention sex education classes but it also mentions their way of handling birth
control which can take a huge part in this prevention. This website is very useful because
it allows you to see the comparison between two states and it also gives you some
feedback from individuals and what they think about the situation.
